Blizzard has a CD. so does frozen orb.
whats your wingspan? cause you are reaching really far lol.
I like the act and the new classes, but the game would have been better without any of the other additions.
bro runes made d2 way better and actually give it an end game in terms of upgrading runes / making powerful items. this is a bad take
define “balance” in terms of a diablo game please.
like the do’s and don’ts.
not a bad idea!
10 chars
Because seggs is always good?
i’ve already gone over this with the other guy who claimed there’s “cooldowns” in diablo 2.
no, frozen orb does not have a “cooldown” in the traditional definition of a cooldown, you simply can’t fire 10 orbs at once, you need to wait for the first one to (nearly) expire before you can fire another, same goes for all the other “cooldowns” in diablo 2 such as druid elemental spells (Fissure, Volcano, Hurricane, Armageddon etc.).
activision d2r not withstanding (like the supposed valkyrie cooldown that wasn’t a thing up until d2r).
that’s what you consider “reaching”? the idea that a sumptious burger with actual meat and condiments in it is superior (as in more flavorful and nutritional) to a fried bun?
color me surprised, you would probably have gotten along well in soviet russia with that… lack of need for proper food, i guess.
Because every thing in this game been considered for console, and PC gaming has clearly been forsaken :c
Exactly what I already said. If things are to powerful they should tuned down as to not make the game to easy. Likewise if something is really weak compared to other classes it should be bumped up a little. Just general balance. I personally don’t think it’s fun to have a character so strong that even the hardest difficulty is trivial. If it’s not challenging or there are not new things to work toward I don’t find it engaging.
I can’t believe I’ve come back here hours later and you two are still going back and fourth about the burger metaphor You’re really just arguing with everybody on here. It’s entertaining if nothing else
Because D3 had 6 slots and they saw no need to change anything about that when they created this game out of its corpse.
they decided on 6. I really doubt they are going to change that and try to rebalance around more when it releases in 2 months. learn to make decisions. 6 is plenty.
My shadow clone ultimate was awesome, never left my bar.
Agree, I’m playing with 5 slots here in last epoch and it feels perfectly fine
Dude, give us 8. Some of us can remember more than 4 things, blizzard. They tried to make the game look complex without really doing anything remotely complex.
But of course they’ll be like “but console players!”
Having a higher skill ceiling would be fun for seasons, for competition. Those more skilled will rise to the top and the less skilled people will be further down the ladder.
The problem with modern game design and education is to push everyone down to the lowest common denominator.
It’s easier to clip the wings of those who aspire for greater things and think outside of the box than it is to make people understand new ways of thinking and taking risks.
stop that. a really bad argument. they decided on 6. designed around 6. balanced around 6. nothing to do with consoles.
Adding more skill slots just forces more “must-have” skills, and then you just rebalance the game around those, and then you’re literally no better off than before when you had 6 slots. No builds are more diverse, nobody is having more fun, and all you’ve done is homogenize the game.
Everyone knows it’s because of console players. Just stop pretending its because humans with access to gaming mice and keyboards want a four button gameplay loop.
