Lately, ive encountered a bug related to undercity with unique tribute.
I was playing in party, and today we decided its time to try out unique tribute, because i got lucky and got 2 of them. As we entered the dungeon and completed it with 4th level of rewards and killed the boss on tormented 4 difficulty, reward chest only contained a little bit of herbs and crafting materials. Not a single item was dropped, not once but twice. Firstly i thought that it might be because i had active opal for more crafting material drop, so i decided to relogin to lose the buff. But unfortunately after we completed the dungeon 2nd time with unique tribute, both i and my party member did not get any items at all from the rewards chest other then herbs again.
I wondered if this issue is known, and if it will be fixed / or is there any chance i can get those tributes back, because as far as i know they are extremely rare.
its a bug known since day one of the expac and they are still not planning to fix that. You know the funny thing? In the next patch they are fixing a bug which caused to have all party members the same identical loot as the group leader.
Im asking myself, how can there be loot if we dont get any loot at all in group play?
Im victim of this no loot at all bug too. My brother couldnt finish the unlock quest unless he did it solo.
We are playing in group non stop and we never did undercity once after discovering the bug because we dont want to waste any resources.
So how can blizz fix something that doesnt make any sense. They cant improve the loot if there is no loot at all ,except for solo play.
how can they fix a bug related to group play in undercity if there is a bug that makes you get no rewards a all?
They have to fix that problem first and then fix the problem where you can get the identical loot as the group leader.
Same here. I should have read the forum first, but here I am.
We just ran the Unique “Tribute of Ascendance (United)” tribute, finished it with 4 ranks and didn’t get anything other than some XP and mats.
Come to think about it, we had the same issue with the Rare “Tribute of Harmony”, which is supposed to reward guaranteed runes. Nothing but some XP and mats dropped.
For whatever reason, I completely forget about yesterday’s hiccup as we got too excited that we finally got a unique tribute. I should have known better…

This is still broken. I just ran a legendary and chose the 50m option for Amulet with passive. only recieved 5 legendary items. The only amulet wasn’t even Ancestral and did not have a passive affix.
This is the buggiest the game has been since release.
Ran a unique tribute, got two basic legendary items and some scattered materials. Seems to still be broken, sad since that was the only unique tribute I’ve found so far.
I know that group play is completely bugged for kurast undercity. No one in the group is getting loot. For solo I don’t know. I did one resolute but I can’t remember if I got something. Every other tribute I getting rewards for
Was resolute the one that gives uniques with a *chance * of getting mythic uniques? If yes, yeah I remember, I took the bargain with getting uniques from other classes and got like 6 uniques, 5 of them were for other classes
Yea I looked it up. I did this one solo before the latest patch and I got many uniques as a reward
It’s a shame that it hasn’t been fixed yet. I usually play in a group and none of the Tributes has given the rewards promised. With the new patch notes, I’m worried that they turn a bug into a feature by simply changing the wording of the tribute, removing the “… will reward guaranteed…” - as they state that the will “improve” the description of the Tributes.
I was surprised when its said in the patchnotes that loot in undercities will be improved and a bug was fixed that caused all group members have identical loot as the group leader.
I was thinking " wait a minute, how can they improve andf fix something, thats not even there at all"
But this proves it again…Blizz is not even playing their own game and whats even more sad is, that thre is no content creator that is actively talking about the bugs that are currently in the game.
Some of the popular content creator for diablo even recommend doing undercities in groups, to farm more efficiently and get more loot of it, but did they ever mentioned it that undercities are bugged for groups? no they didnt.
Some other dude said " Activate Seething opal of torment and go into a helltide, every mob will drop boss summoning materials"…This is straight misinformation, this is not how opals work at all
