Hi
I have purchased the Standard Edition of Diablo IV, but there is no way to download/install it. There is nothing against Diablo IV in my profile. Battle.net App says the game is in library, but there is no button for download/install it. How can I do that and start playing?
Make sure you have selected Diablo IV in the launcher. There should be a full list of games that are available to select, make sure you click on D4’s Icon.
Then, a page should show up with Install in the lower left panel. If you are not getting this page, you aren’t selecting the game correctly in the list. Go to “Games” and find Diablo IV. Click it. Then you should see the page.
If for some weird reason, that still isn’t working, then exit the launcher, and log back in and try again. Worst case, uninstall the launcher, restart Windows, then reinstall the launcher.
Yes, the page is showing but there are no buttons. I have allowed Battle.net app in ESET Smart Security, checked for viruses, rebooted router (connection is wired, not wireless), uninstalled/reinstalled Battle.net app 3 or 4 times, rebooted the PC after each install/reinstall, nothing of that helped.
Howdy!
I recommend troubleshoot this issue as it sounds like the Battle.net Desktop application can’t load properly. Try the following:
Log out and close the Battle.net Desktop application completely.
Press (Windows key + R
) Type in: %ProgramData%
Press the Enter key. Delete
both Battle.net
and Blizzard Entertainment
folders.
Close the folder. Restart the PC and retest.
If the issue continues, see if either workaround helps:
- Goto the Battle.net logo at the top right → Select: Settings → Advanced Features (bottom) → Uncheck: Use Browser Hardware acceleration. Done. Close the Battle.net Desktop application and retest.
- Log out of the battle.net Desktop application , at the top right of the Email select the cog icon → Try a different region such as Americas. Log in as normal retest.
After these steps, I recommend to please collect your System files Here and contact our support team Here.
Thank you!
Just a curious. Do you have the application window large enough to show the button? Make sure you maximize the window, just in case.
Otherwise, follow Zuvykree’s advice.
Make sure you aren’t using an HDD.
And please create your own thread about your problems specifically, rather than hijack a thread about an entirely different issue.
@ Zuvykree Changing the region to Americas helped, I’m installing now the game, thanks. Is it possible that the game language caused the problem? My region must be Europe (I’m from Bulgaria), but for the Battle.net app and the game I have selected Russian, since there is no Bulgarian.
@ DTMAce Huh, yes, I started the app window in fullscreen mode on a 27-inch monitor
