I have updated Diablo 4 after a long break. Now I have the problem that the transmog no longer works. I can neither load old ensembles nor save new ones. Seems that in the old ensembles the position of some items was different to the current game. I ask for your support.
Bumping this as it is annoying and I am in the same boat. Returned after a long hiatus, and on the initial screen my Barb looks exactly how I left him, how I liked him with his armor set. Loaded into game, and everything is back to some BS default. I have all the other slots unlocked but I can not save a new ensemble at all. I removed everything and redid it, it said Changes Saved, exit to the game screen from wardrobe and its all back to default.
For some reason my Barb also has what appears to be basic gloves and pants, merged into his head and shoulders. My other characters this works fine but not my Barb. I purchased the Lich King outfit and can not even use Frostmourne with him. I was going to purchase the new expansion but not anymore, not until I get my stuff back to looking how it did!
Same here for me. I am hoping it gets fixed. My person looks like a complete idiot. I have noticed that it is only on my rogue, but my theory is… dont make anymore ensembles. IT was working fine for me until i purchased all the ensemble tabs. Then it started going screwy.
The Gloves slot shows boots for some reason too. When viewing an ensemble, there is a pair of pants going through my character. Weird, and please help.
I’m having a similar issue, but not on all characters. This is only occurring on my original one, that I completed the original story line on.
Same problem, not all of my characters on the main world are affected. On those affected I have a boot in the arms slot (appearance only) and cannot remove it. The appearance defaults to normal for each item without transmo, which is a bad mess. How could we buy appearance items if they do not work ?
Same. Have tried opening a ticket and asking on other social media sites for any sort of acknowledgement and I just can’t get one back. Looking at past patch notes also reveals this exact bug has happened in the game before, and it was patched out, so not sure if the lack of communication means they’re having difficulty patching out whatever broke it this time or what.
Related? Sounds the same… If only I could undo playing with the ensembles again which would put my character back. Simply changing the slots was fine until I touched ensembles.
I’d be happy if they just fixed the state of our characters… Which is probably different from fixing the bug that caused it in the first place. Like I’d be happy if they just removed all of our ensembles.
I have the same problem with my first rogue character, seen floating rock pants and boots where the gloves should be, this sucks hard, a lot of time with this issue

same issue, i have floating pants on my rogue and boots in my glove slots. totally broken, cant change any of it and it never saves when i leave the wardrobe. support tickets just send you here so i hope there is a patch soon!
Same here , ensembles doesnt work and I have a floating rock colored pants in my glove slot , hope they gonna patch this soon.

I am having the exact same issue. I took a break and came back and now it is all broken. They want me to buy expansions and cosmetics, but the cosmetics you buy are not able to even be used. This is BS. So many people are having the same issue and I have not seen one official comment on this.
Same issue. This is “really great” to pay $$$ for appearances in store but not to be able to display it in game
still broken in the latest patch blizzard! why would I want to play my eternals characters when their appearance is PERMANENTLY broken?!
Same issue on the PS5 - all of my equipment on my barbarian will not save after closing out the wardrobe. It reverts all of the equipment back to default.
Returning player here. Expected to be able to fashion my character on an over 1 year old triple a title but alas that was too much to ask

On Xbox - clicked “ensemble” to save my look…Like a chump, I even paid for a skin.
This is ridiculous.
Same. Unable to apply any look. Boots showing in glove slot in first outfit slot. Everything shows as default no matter what I do.
