In the video I can’t link there are transmogs, like a staff in my shirt column, and any time I change and confirm anything and leave my appearance doesn’t change and things just go back to a state that I don’t want.
I think this is somehow related to my ensemble slots, but I don’t understand how. I tried to overwrite one and this happened. This character is from the first public month of D4 (before a season) and I hadn’t played again until this past weekend. No issues until I clicked and ensemble slot.

I have tried
- logging out
- exiting
- rebooting
- unequipping items, although I have no staves equipped at all.
- deleted %ProgramData%/BlizzardEntertainment
- scanning and repairing the game
- uninstalling and reinstalling
I have not purchased any items from the store, and do not have any special items from buying vessel of hatred. The game is up to date.
** I have Confirmed this does not affect a new seasonal character. I imagine it does not affect a new regular or hardcore character. I suspect it has something to do with a character that had legacy items equipped at one point, although I’ve replaced them all now.
*** since this is only for old characters, is there anything blizzard can do to correct my characters?
I really REALLY don’t want to start over just to fix this, but my new appearance annoys me and is salt in the existing wound of them having lost 2 characters entirely (that’s right, I came back to 3 characters instead of 5, 2 just went poof, and no I don’t have a console, none of that nonsense applies to me)
**** Just a comment if anyone at blizzard does decide to look at this they can look at my qira character associated with this account. I only have one battlenet ID
***** since it appears to be some sort of state issue, I’d be plenty happy if blizzard just reset/removed my ensembles and unapplied any transmogs.
