Transmog bugged

I started playing again after about a year. All of my preset transmogs are bugged, with boots appearing in the glove slot and gloves and trousers appearing in weapon slots, i can’t override them.

In the actual transmog screen my gloves have boots cosmetics locked in, and I can’t change them at all. Any changes I do make revert as soon as I close the wardrobe.

Same thing happened to me! Makes me not want to even continue playing anymore.

I am having exactly the same problem. It’s only affecting my male Sorcerer, but since that’s by far my best character, it’s extremely frustrating. I was going to buy some cosmetics for him, but what’s the point of his wardrobe is bugged and I can’t change his look??

I have nearly the same or a very similar bug. And because it is obviously forbidden to post evidence of bugs in blizzard videogames, in official Blizzard forums, i will now post these screenshots with help of that nasty trick:

I’ve got the same issue.
Some boots somehow got stuck into the gloves transmog slot.
I mainly play Diablo 4 on my PS5

Bump. We’ve been trying since VoH launched to get Blizz to notice and fix this bug. Keep bumping any threads like these you see!

same here. my first character has trousers on her back in the preview and i can’t change or overwrite anything in the wardrobe.

I feel for you guys, I really do. Lord knows theres been enough bugs with transmogging and dye’ing since launch, but this one is insanely stupid. Ive had stuff disappear and the dyes not work at all, but man am I glad I’ve never had this issue.

Gonna bookmark this post and see if it ever gets resolved. But honestly, since the other issues related to transmogs and dyes havent been fixed in over a year, I think its safe to say they just dont care about these kinds of bugs.

Bump! This is ridiculous. You sell us cosmetics, but you bug it where you cannot change anything in the game and never respond to the many complaints/reports?

Same issue here… SO ANNOYING! Why did I spend money on transmogs that can no longer be applied. Joke is on me I guess. Got a character look locked in ugly mode. Game breaking.

The transmogrification sword from the Banshee Queen set is missing.It’s been more than a month and the patches haven’t fixed it.PC

Still having this issue too. It’s been happening since the launch of VoH, and it’s completely bricked my necro and ability to use cosmetics.

Hi there,

There are at least 9 posts in the french forum who reported the same bug (me included) that you can see here : Bug vestiaire transmo - Assistance Technique - Diablo IV Forums

My character’s appearance is bugged (no torso) AND blocked : no registration possible whether in the wardrobe or directly via my character’s objects…
I can modify them, but when I clic on the registration button it seems to do nothing and I remind shirtless with some random boots and other clothes.

We wished for a “Christmas miracle” concerning the resolve of this bug but . . . well, I wonder if blizzard is alive as well ?

It will be nice, or at least respectful, to get an answer (not a fix, just an answer) after 2 months and half of signaling this bug !
I was reloading the game in october to find if I should buy VoH or not … this issue make me not want to spend a single penny for now . . .
