Trading is amazing. Please lean into this Blizzard

I gave you 1 lol

Im playing a druid with my own build, and im at pitt99. You have no clue what are you talking about.

The market for less popular classes are way cheaper.

Lol tempest is one of the most sought after uniques in the game. Trade on a sorc and then talk to me. There is no point rolling a sorc if you enjoy trading.

So there needs to be a mode where all classes can get all possible drops equally. That should be the trade mode.

Good game you do not post in the forum at all. Game with problems like D4 you post a lot.
And lets face it most you people do not post to fix the game you post purely to troll others for their opinions and complaints. You do not really have any kind of point or agenda except to be a contrarian troll.
People like me who was around when the forum/social media trolls started driving change in the gaming industry posts because I have to fight against evil when i see it and they are evil. They are the reason Im even playing this garbage game because there has not been a good game released in 5 years.
Those people why we have F2p/ptw mobas, CoD, Gatchas, battle arena, D3, d4, WoW for kids only, etc.
Can not even get a real group bonus in D4 because the kids cry that it is not fair they cant get the same loots and rewards solo in their copied from some gimp streamer builds.,

Dont know what you’re tring to say?

Because I dont the game to go down futher into the D3 seasonal weekend of participation throphies and disastrous uncapped paragon?

Or because I dont want to play trade simulator and know that should an AH be added it would impact drop rates to force people to interact with the interface.

This makes no sense you are basically saying you’re a self annointed troll.

Which is a plauge in the gaming world.

I have no issues finding a group but streamers have done a lot of damage over the years for there click bait content they attempt to monitize off of their sheep.

You realize everyone plays the game differently? If you don’t want to use an AH if they put one in the game nobody is making you. You have serious case of FOMO and it’s not healthy.

Not hard to get a group. Hard to get blizzard to give you a reason to group. You get 10 percent bonus xp in a full group. Mobs get 400 percent hp and drops are exactly the same.
You do pit in a group everyone but the one who opens gets almost no rewards.
Most games give 20+ percent xp per group member. Drops better. Grouping should ALWAYS be more rewarding than solo.
Grouping and difficulty in D4 is just for fun because there is no reward for it.
And was not talking about you in particular on the decline of gaming. Saying that is why people post on forums that are not actually playing the game.
ALL of my posts are made 3 days after season starts. Because that is exactly how long it takes to hit 100 and be geared. And that is only if you take naps and breaks.

Diablo 4 has become a more viable trade game than Diablo 2. Not because the game is better, but because Blizzard isn’t lifting finger to ban bots whatsoever and Diablo 2 anymore so there’s no point in farming it anymore.

But JSP is hopping with D4 items.

If you dont understand what the AH did to D3 then :person_shrugging: LE did have a good solution to it.

Yep, my group does rota to keep things balanced.

I never said it wasnt. Tho tbf outside of ladder bosses the is no huge benefit of grouping. Leveling is an absolute joke solo and in multiplayer.

Well ladder bosses do have a larger advantage because of rotas

Ill likely get anothet month out of the season but you are correct. I finished the season journy and hidden achievements in 1.5 weeks playing casually. Ill keep playing until im done playing. D4 is odd like that you just have that sense of “Im done”.

And this shouldnt be a surprise that botting is back in full force.

Well I was referring to Diablo 2 and now there haven’t been any banwaves in like a year+. Diablo 4 has always been botted for gold. Gold selling has been huge since launch.

But actual item trading is happening now in Diablo 4 so it’s been an improvement.

And with it a lot more bots, a lot more RMT farms and a lot more spam.

Trade has both positive and negitives but my personal opinion is it brings more undesirable behaviors then positive ones.

I made a billion gold off 2 items yesterday so its not that I wont trade its that it brings an aweful experience with it.

It always helpful when the company tries to regulate such things. And it can be done. It’s just a matter of will and blizzard usually doesn’t have it.

That said, this is precisely why there needs to be two modes of this game. A full and open trade mode where the drops are balanced around trade and any class can get any drop for any class equally. However I think there should be some kind of grinding scale characters need to go through in order to be able to trade the highest level items. So you can’t just make a new account and trade something. Make it hard for RMTs. There are tons of preventive measures out there that are tried and true.

And a mode that’s more geared towards a self-found experience, and drops are tailored around that; no trade.

Absolutely. LE did a massive ban wave and made a public statement about cheaters and RMT.

Mind you LE isnt a good game but I respect the devs for that.

I do think temporing system does a good job to help mitigate that.

Yeah say what you want about LE content and game dynamics, they really have a great philosophy in how they are approaching the trade versus no trade debate. Actually trailblazing what should become an industry standard imo.

I absolutely agree. Combat is just so dated.

LE does have some really good systems. And there statement following the ban wave is a +1

OP agrees with you and is literally asking for an in game solution.

Damn, LE just keeps putting all other A-RPG devs to shame.

No, its subjective. Just because a Developer says it is, doesn’t mean it is. Trading doesn’t affect you unless you are trying to be competitive, either in PvP or pushing the ladder. That’s it. So, I ask you, are you a competitive player? If you are, I get it. If you aren’t, stop caring about what other people are doing and worry about yourself.

Drop rates are never subjective. I can’t for the life of me figure out why you can’t figure that out.

Drop rates are hard coded into the game.

If they say “we want 20% of players who want this to have this” then drop rates are coded so over time 20% of players have that. It’s like a 5% drop rate.

Now someone who gets it but doesn’t want it puts it up on the AH. So you have people farming for the item with 5% drop and now there are more available through trade so a higher percentage of players have access to that item. The next step is to lower the drop rate to compensate that people who don’t want it can trade it. The new drop rate is 2%.

That means all players now have a 2% drop rate that is in no way subjective. That’s a factual drop rate.

So every player in the entire game has suffered a worse drop rate because of trading.

Not subjective, it’s a fact.

Say gold becomes the form of trade currency now. Gold is plentiful and people can trade for any item they want through trade, including the best gear. Devs see this and it’s too fast of a progression for the game so they decrease sources of gold in the entire game.

That means every player gets less gold to control trading.

Not subjective, it’s a fact.

Being competitive has no bearing whatsoever in the conversation. The entire game has been altered to balance around trading. From step one the game has changed to compensate for what trading allows.

Case in point, look at what Last Epoch did to compensate non-traders in their game. You get like 300% increased drops at a minimum. Because the trade portion decreases ALL other drops in the entirety of the game.

So again, and you better figure this out, if someone doesn’t trade they have only gotten the worst parts of what trading contributes to the game: lower drop rates across the board and decreased resource drops.

Think the disconnect is the rng is hard coded, but the perceived experience will differ depending on the players distribution of the outcomes. :grinning:

Like someone on earth saying it’s flat because it looks flat and someone from the moon seeing the earth…well…saying it’s flat because it looks like a disk. You should just give up the discussion while you’re ahead.
