If you are trying to say that doing whispers in helltides is better gold per hour than just whispers, I dont even think that would end up being true. Regardless, you are still spamming casual andy content for the end game system.
It would be like running 10 bounties to get legendary gem xp in d3ā¦. This system as it stands makes no sense.
Since we are comparing d*ck size I am doing doing tier 74 pits and currently ranked 70 in the guantlet after one attempt. What is your point?

If the argument is that gold is limiting you more than materials, then that is a fair point.
Reduce the amount of materials gained. All currencies should feel limiting, that is their very purpose.
Gold is not the issue.

I ask mommy and daddy on eternal realm for an increase in allowance so I can keep my gambling addiction resetting masterworks at 5M a pop going.
My Father works as a diligent farmer in Fields of Hatred. Iām told each chest has about 500k gold. If you start in a fresh zone you zip through the edges of the map to clear about 10 chests in a few minutes. Bonus points if you catch a bot hoarding seeds.
Then double upon whispers, etc.
@shadout, I can absolutely see gold becoming a limiting issue. Iāve just spent about 100M resetting a tier 1 masterwork trying to get the master work to hit the greater affix. RNG a huge pain, but the gold is surprisingly very high burn rate for target crafting specific affixes.

just adding that there. dont masterwork on items that arent āworth itā. i mean, yes one can get tempted, but an item with only one greater affix isnt worth the materials, let alone the gold.
im not sure where id cross the line on unique items. maybe 1 greater affix?
In this case Iām a movement speed junkie, and it took 20 tries before the movement speed greater affix got the 25% bump. Painful.

Iām 100% convinced the 3 GA items are going to get bricked 100% of the times for me.
I think Iām going to avoid tornado druid for this exact reason. Just to test the build, I bricked 7 regular 1H weapons trying to get the tornado double cast.
Iām sitting on a 3x GA 2H weapon right now with good affixes before it gets ruined. Think better to sell it.

I think they drop more frequently in higher level pits. Still rare. The problem of course is many are not just horrible affix combinations, but rather all three are horrible together at the same time. Almost like the 3GA is a troll drop of the worst kind.
I want to say roughly 1/500 so far. (And of course with boss runs and pit runs paired with obol spending after pit runs) you churn through lots of RNG quickly.

hmmā¦ well i just hit t60s today (along with lvl 100), so im curious to see if some might drop. I mean, im not in a hurry, its the start of s4 anyway ^^

I tell you what, no matter what Blizzard does, somebody is gonna complain. Before, people were whining that ātoo much gold, nothing to spend it onā and now itās ānot enough gold droppingā. Scrap legendaries, sell yellows (if you bother to pick them up, that is).

Not enough gold OR shattered prisms flowing in.
