I wonder what people would have prefered?

To see people speed clearing without looting , and just meta-ing the whole game? lol

Its just a video of 2 game designers, that probably designed the visual aspects, and the depth of dungeons , that plays fairly casually =o

Seriously, if a video like this makes you rage, go breath some air

Everyone likes different things , They are obviously not hardcore gamers so?

Its kinda hard to be an hardcore gamer when you actually work 40 hours / week , which i suppose to be the case for that example

Also, If they actually WORK on the game usually, its kinda normal, to not be that excited when playing it

That would have displayed some level of competency with the product they “work” on. So yes, I would have preferred that.

Chris Wilson (the producer of PoE) always seems excited when he’s showing off a new league. Yoshi-P is always very excited when he’s showing off anything related to FFXIV.

I think it’s very important to project that energy to your player base. If they can’t project that energy without faking it, they should find people who can. And if they can’t find anyone, then that says a lot about their game, does it not?

It really depends to be honest

I’m a very creative mind, and I’d create very nice concepts, that would probably end up being too complicated for the majority of people, but then, I’d be horrible at creating mapping, and dungeon scenery/visuals

What is so wrong with the dungeons?

Excepts that it gets repetitive, when you do them non-stop ? Without looking at loot, and chaining them like a crazy hardcore player

Which i believe, the issue, is user-based at this point

Could we get multi-layered dungeons, and a little more depth to dungeons, with more choices and such, of course we could, but keep in mind the hardcore players, would always blow thru the same path, they would find whats the easiest and just do that again over and over and over and over, hence my User-Problem =)

I play Couch Mode, non-meta, and i do all activities, and all types of dungeons , excepts drifting shade, and I’m enjoying it highly :slight_smile: Of course i also work a lot, and generally on spends 2.5days per week on the game =)

I’m level 72 now, T4, Gonna do Varshan next :smiley:

I could do Nightmare max 3 more levels than me, for maximum more efficient xp, but then, what ? that would be boring, I’m pushing NM 31 now, and working on stuff, to try to push the NM, as much as possible

The video is crap, they are developers that play a game not even close to the level of the most casual gamer would play. They create dungeons, many of them have a lot of annoying back tracking.

From your post I can see you don’t know much about the game either or what is going on.

100%. Every time you see a phony diversity-promoting ad from a corporation, always remember it’s done for nothing but financial gain with zero concern for actual diversity.

Edit: Wanted to add that normal everyday people support diversity because they are sane people and don’t need a video game company to tell them that. It’s common sense and basic human decency.

The person that needs to be fired is the one that saw the video, then ok’d it for public release. Someone watched that disaster and said to a group of execs “yes, that is exactly what we need right now. This will show the community what we are all about!”

Who is getting fired? That is what I want to know.
