I tried last night (10:15PM PDT) to restart console then manage add-ons and check for any downloads through the Diablo game icon itself. Nothing available. Spiritborn char is still locked, but all edition purchase options say unlocked.
Should this have been immediately available or am I waiting on a server push? Is there an ETA on when this download should definitively be available?

Also, a point of contention here: Looking at the VoH edition comparisons for purchase on the official Blizzard page, they ALL have the standard edition of VoH clearly checked as INCLUDED. No one who purchased any level of the X-Pac should have to also purchase the standard edition. There are only 2 exceptions to this: Playing the game on a different platform, or not having the base Diablo IV game itself. Any additional purchase requirement other than those 2 scenarios is deceptive business practices.

I followed these steps but I cannot check the box for the Vessel of Hatred, it doesnt even give me a chance to click it. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Diablo 4 and still does not work.

okay this is nonsense i got the spiritborn class unlocked but when i tp its says i donā€™t have the expansion

I got the Ultimate perks - pets, wing, mount, etc

And i have pay 120 99 $ for Deluxe edition Pre-Purchase On Steam

Do we really have to buy it for every Plateformes : PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Microsoft Windows, Steam man we would need to buy the game 6 time every one ā€¦

We should be able to play with only one license

The same happen in COD where i had to buy the game multiple time, this gonna kill allottee of gamersā€¦

Purchased the PS5 D4 ultimate edition on release. Spiritborn class is locked and says only available in vessel of hatred.

Seriously this is theft if left unaddressed. Donā€™t offer in game purchases if those purchases canā€™t be verified by the game launcher. At least offer a dlc manager in game so I can download it from there instead of from the steam store

To be clear. On Xbox you are able to fix this by going through settings / billing and purchases. You go through your history and access the game there. It then shows that you own it correctly and can then download the 10 mb file to unlock it.

Playing on PS5. My Iā€™m able to play spiritborn, however in the middle of playing itā€™ll count it as if I dont have the license so I wont be able to do any new content. I then have to leave game to see spiritborn greyed out. I have to restore license through settings and it fixes, but its only for about 30 min before it happens again. Incredibly annoying to have to keep doing it over and over.

i have the same issue, not sure in my case if it is the teleporting thing, but i am loosing the expansion as i am playing

I was having same issue. I Restarted the gameand it worked i can access the new area.

IF YOUā€™RE ON XBOX AND CANā€™T CREATE SPIRITBORN CLASS, READ THIS!!!

As someone stated earlier in the thread;

  1. Select Manage Game Add-Ons
  2. Select D4 Base Game
  3. Select Manage Installation on internal storage
  4. Check the Vessel of Hatred Expansion Pack check box hit
  5. Hit Save Changes (for me it required to download a 10mb file)
  6. Start the game

If you purchased it on Steam through the in-game store, Pez posted that we need to contact Bliz support.

I did that and they told me to go through Steam support -_-

Same. And then Steam sent me to Bliz. The post was just a few hours ago, so maybe they are aware now. I also attached a screenshot of the post just in case.

EditEdit: BLIZZ support got back to me and helped me solve the issue on Steam. Sorry, I didnā€™t clarify which.
