The pre-beta access is a perk for preordering. The game will still be base $70 USD after it releases. You could of waited till the open beta access and didnt have to pre-order the game
However, if you want to refund bc you thought there wouldnt be ques that is up to you and you not being bright.

You didnt pay extra LOL for pre-ordering. D4 is still going to be $70 USD and thats all you needed to get pre-beta.
If you spent $90 USD or $100 USD you paid for the items for the other games and for the Battle pass.
Even after the game base game will be $70 USD and the pre beta was a perk for pre-ordering

that also doesnt mean they should have full launch server capacity during a beta. this is a test and you are being entitled over nothing. They owe you nothing. you pre-ordered a game that doesnt release until june. QQ then.

It is a PAID beta… if they wanted to host a s-show and alpha-test their garbage code they should have done the public beta first… then do the PAID beta.

Read the blue post of known issues you guys act like this never happens every launch first time? Definition of insanity is expecting them to get releases and betas perfect every time you only set yourself up for more disappointment .
Do you not know what a BETA is? Has Blizzard spoiled it’s community so much with nearly release-grade BETA tests that you now expect it?

but its not a PAID beta, since you didnt pay extra to get into it. all you did was pre-pay for a game coming in june. It didnt cost anything extra to get into the beta.

As far as movies are concerned you do your waiting to get your ticket AND if you are in an open seating theater you better be in line early if its a hyped up movie or you aren’t getting a good seat.

Beta doesn’t mean failure to connect to the game while all the streamers private connection is fine. This also is not Blizzard’s first rodeo. They have been around since 1996, they shouldn’t be fumbling the ball this hard anymore.
This excuse worked when WoW launched. It worked when every expansion launched.
It worked when Diablo 3 and Overwatch launched.
It does not work in 2023, after Blizzard has had 20 years to learn how to set up servers without long queues.
Most good devs in 2023 don’t have this problem. Blizzard has more experience and resources than most developers, so it has even less of an excuse. There is no justification for this today.
True, they should totally have a beta to test this stuff out before they release the game!
It would be completely unacceptable if this stuff happens when the game releases on June 6th.
As an aside, it is crazy how Blizzard has spoiled it’s user base with release candidate grade betas, and how people are freaking out over an actual beta now, isn’t it?

Play for 20 minutes.
Disconnect, but it doesn’t say I’m disconnected just an error when I try to “start game” or create a character.
I close and reopen and wait TWO HOURS in que.
As soon as I get done with that que, instant disconnect with an error.
Join que again… estimated another 60 minutes.
What the actual F. I payed $100 for this garbage.
I swear to god if I reach the end of this que and get met with another error message I’m demanding a refund.
