Blizzard is not a new company. They know how to setup servers. They have the statistics on pre-orders. A queue, due to their lack of planning is just plain unacceptable.
Nothing surprises me when it comes to diablo launches, apart from Reaper of Souls, every diablo release has been a complete mess
Another cringe response. Blizzard made millions on preorders with one perk being D4 early access beta.
Sitting in a login server queue is not early access beta. It is inexcusable and unacceptable.
Expressing that obvious fact is valid feedback. Your bootlicking response is not.
Another cringey response millions of people logging into an early access beta shouldnât cause any issues. Give me a break go outside and take a walk.
They literally said theyâre stress testing servers. itâs beta, chill
Ah yes, the blizzard is a small indie company that doesnât know how to set up servers excuse.
Oh wait, theyâve done nothing but online games for 20 years. Why are you gaslighting for a billion dollar company for free? Keep licking that boot.
Touch some grass and grow up a bit would ya.
This is fine, but it is not acceptable as a marketing/sales strategy to provide temporary access to something for a purchased product and make it inaccessible. This is the problem and 100% should be class action lawsuited so it stops happening in the industry.
Summarized as âWe at Blizzard didnât know how to release the last 5+ games and expect you to put up with delays again.â
Feedback has been given over the last 20+ years. If you are going to force us to use Games as a service, gamers nay Your Customers like a smooth online experience.
The beta isnât for you. Its for them to test their systems so when the game goes live, there are fewer issues. You paid for the game, thatâs all. The are offering you the ability to help them beta test it. You arenât entitled to anything except the game when it launches. Try to be a little less entitled
The queue definitely sucks and it is a bummer that I have been disconnected twice now and had to requeue, but you all really need to read the Terms and Conditions. it is worded in such a way that even if you never get in and get zero playtime during early access or the open beta, you have no recourse. They may offer some refunds mostly independent of that fact, but they made NO guarantee you would get playtime, only that you would have a chance to get playtime. It is crappy legalese, sure, but the reality is there is nothing you can do and considering the full game release in June and they likely got 1,000,000 people or more who are waiting for the full game, a few angry Ultimate edition buyers mean nothing to them. As long as those who get in report bugs and provide some stress testing, they get everything they wanted. I have already reported 3 minor bugs, which across similar experience from 10,000+ early access players is great for them.
Itâs still beta, not a finished product. Weâre getting exactly what they advertised.
Donât worry⌠when the game launches and people quit for various reasons the queue will go away. Just like they did with D2R. They didnât raise the server pops, people just quit because they finished the game.
There is something you can do, you can refund the game and let them know this isnât acceptable. Just because you canât sue them for something doesnât mean it isnât scummy and shows a deep level of disdain for their customers.

Early Access beta progress will carry over to the open beta as well, so you essentially get 6 days to test the game and get the beta rewards.
They have an easy access button through support for refunds. You dont even have to mail support directly.
Rather than a refund, just do this again next weekend. âEarly access take 2â
Is there a way to refund?
Blizz will always get hate from people who canât play when they put the access behind a paywallâŚbeta or not
Besides, we are likely going to have these same issues when early access starts anyways lol
If that happened, I would get a refund from the theater and go do something else⌠not stand around in front of the movie theater screaming to the world.
