No sound at all

Hi i am having an issue with sound in game ive got nothing no sound at all

Updated drivers
Diabled and reenabled sound device
followed multiple ideas from here and reddit to fix nothings work

all other games and apps are perfectly fine its just a diabl0 4 issue.

any help would be great

Go into the game and enable sounds.

When I logged in last night for the first time, my sound was disable by defaultā€¦ /shrug

still nothing and have redownloaded game completly and still no sound

I am also having this issue, started the game last nightā€¦nothing, went through the whole prologueā€¦nothing, battled my way through to about lvl.9 and midway through a dungeonā€¦boom sound. Play for about 8hrs, before heading off for the night I closed out of the game and the fired it back up to see if it was fixedā€¦no joy, the sound was gone.

ive updated everything on pc reinstalled game a 3rd time bought new headset and still nothing

My game was fine all of the 1st, yesterday and this morning, up until half an hour ago when all sound stopped when I zoned into a dungeon.

Now, no fix will work.

I have the same problem, yesterday it worked, today it doesnā€™t work. changing settings in the game, updating the battle.net client and game client, sound drivers did not help. in Diablo 2 everything is ok, in D4 it doesnā€™t work

i had same problem i got the game today. i tried many diffrent ways. Update everything and no sound at all. Other games perfectly working. And nobody giving any answer for that. No sound no game. Please someone help.

Iā€™ve been having the exact same issue, itā€™s been a let down since I was excited for d4, Iā€™ve considered just soft rebooting my pc but idk if even that will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have audio in every game and Iā€™ve tried everything to try and fix this but to no avail it happened after I updated my graphics drive.

Itā€™s not just a few people, a lot of people are having this issue, even at beta. Iā€™m still having this issue and itā€™s annoying.

The temporary solution is, go to Device Manager, DISABLE your default audio, then re-enable it. That should temporarily fix the audio/sound until the next time you quit out of diablo. You can also do a quick ALT+Enter so it auto-picks up your audio, but this doesnt always work.

I tried my best. i did everything i can do. No sound. I wait days. And some BS solution they give a to me i already tried 4 days ago. so for $100 is not worth it at all. Even they give me the game free. No Thanks im good with WoW. Let me fly with my dragon.

I have the same issue. More often than not, I need to reboot my PC to restore sound. I can play with sound at that point, but after Iā€™m done playing and my computer enters/exits sleep mode, I have no sound again. When I enter sound settings in the game at that point, there is NO audio detected/selectable in D4. Please resolve this - itā€™s really annoying.

Hey everyone, try this:

  1. Right click on sound icon which is on the right bottom
  2. Click volume mixer/control
  3. You will see your main device and other apps(discord,steam,diablo4 etc.) each of them has slider to control sound.
  4. Find diablo 4, check whether sounds ON or not. Mine was off, idk whyā€¦

I had no sound during both open betas and into full release - The only solution that worked for me was to use the Windows 10 ā€œTroubleshoot sound problemsā€ wizard (which I was highly skeptical of, because since when do those ever work) but somehow it fixed the driver issue I was having. I now have audio in Diablo 4 for the first time.

Hi Everyone. Iā€™m also experiencing no sound in Diablo 4 even though all other Blizzard games have sound. Has anyone figured out a fix to this?

Completed Troubleshooting:

  1. Updated all drivers
  2. Disconnected and reconnected speakers
  3. Verified the correct audio device is selected in windows
  4. Verified Diablo 4 was not muted in any game or windows settings.

Same problemsā€¦ No soundā€¦
Sometime like magic it works again.

Then I turned of the game then returned to the game and itā€™s not working again.

Could you please fix that Devs ??

All these explanations to make it work again are not useful. My drivers are ok, exlusive sound to any app is unactive, admin mode, blabla.

It is just the game which is broken not my drivers. The output sound devise is disapearing itself from the game. Sometimes itā€™s here, sometimes not.

Same issue. Sometimes a restart fixes the issue temporarily.

Same problem here sound everywhere but not on diablo 4 but for me its from the beginning of the instal i already tried to repair and reinstall nothing works please help i mean lvling without sound is not bad for like some hours but for days after days with no sound its getting annoiying

PLease help
