Keep fields of hatred open pvp

PvPers always leave immediately for any new game that has PvP in it. They want to grief others, they live for it. They never want to fight each other, they only want to gank people who do not want to pvp. As soon as they face a challenge they quit.

All opting out does is make them face players who also want to PvP and they do not want that. They are like bullies at school. They pick on the weak kids, but as soon as they get hit in the mouth, they don’t want to play anymore.

I remember playing ESO and the game balanced itself around PvP players first and foremost.

Let’s just say that there exists a reason why you typically balance things around PvE AND PvP. Because changes for one aspect can have dire ramifications for the other.

If statues of Lillith weren’t in the zone other players who don’t want the pvp cosmetics would never got there. I think that for the most part after the first few months and everyone who is going to goes in and unlocks there account wide permanent upgrades it will mostly be gankers messing with other gankers with the occasional newbie player who steps into the trap and never comes back.

Oh, if they are, then yeah, the PvP in the zone certainly needs to be opt-in.

I saw it in an interview that they were did not get to check it out if it was in the last beta.

Maybe we should exclude PvP’ers from all the PvE stuff? That would be fair right?

I am sorry but you seem to think very shallow im afraid.PvP people do not exclude PvE people? Come join the fun we would say! Grab a weapon and lets spank eachother into oblivian…

What about the reversed then? There are a lot of people which msin motivation to play a game is PvP instead of PvE… yes those are here too! surely people thats those peoples main motivation is to gear up characters for PvP… which is done by doing PvEing… do you really think all of those like those PvE activities? you do not seem them complaining my dear person

Which is how it should be; I should not have to risk a 4-man gank squad camping me to get their micro-peens hard, just to get non-PvP progression.

Should probably just equalize gear in PvP.
Or have specific PvP gear, with its own progression path.

So let them. Nothing is stopping PvP players from fighting each other.

No one is making them PVE, they are opting in to do it.

All PVP turns into is roaming gank squads griefing solo players. That is all PVP ever is and ever will be, I don’t get why PvP’ers are so mad that people can opt out, they still have all those other PvP’ers to kill…

If there is not enough people opting in to PvP, then the players have decided that PvP isn’t necessary in this game. You can’t get mad at PvE’ers that there are not enough PvP’ers. If you need more PvP’ers go recruit people on PvP forums to come PvP with you, do not try to force people who don’t want to PvP into PVP’ing.

MMORPG open world pvp has devolved into ganking and griefing other players so that sad people with sad lives can feel good about themselves.
There’s plenty of options out there for them to legit compete with other pvp players, but they don’t want that unless them and their buddies outnumber their opponents by level or player count.
There’s games that penalize gankers so they avoid them and flock to games where there aren’t repercussions, such as this one.

that is like saying, oh you are vegetarian but is ok, go join us to eat meat. see what im getting at?

you can’t mix water with oil. it simply won’t happen. it has been done to death over and over, and diden’t worked then, it won’t work now.

i recall my best pvp experience with playing Daoc. two factions there was an instance where people fought to take control over fortress and castles . was alot of fun. but it was optional and diden’t make players miss out content if they diden’t want to partake into it

Good.

PKers ruin every game.

Let the Ganking begin lol

I think that is fair, an instance for PVPers and one for people who are not opt’ed in. Gives the PVPers a target rich environment.

No, it’s to stay open… if y’all don’t wanna PVP, grow up and stay away from the zone and trying to take everything for yourselves.

How is someone opting out taking something for themselves? How is telling someone to stay away from the zone not taking something for themselves? Do you not see how moronic your statement is?

Are you serious? How is it not… everywhere in the game is a non-pvp zone… why is having one that big of a deal? Why do y’all have to have everything? If you don’t want to pvp stay out of the zone, you’re more than welcome to come and pvp.

Supposedly there are PvE stuff in the zone. In which case it needs to be opt-in. Otherwise it does not.

In any case, opt-in seems like it would have no downsides. The ones PvPing in the zone would see no difference between people not entering the zone vs. those same people being in a PvE version of the zone.

That is no reason to remove a pvp requirement… just like pvp servers from wow, it’s a choice… you don’t have to go on that server, same goes for this pvp zone
