Have upgraded to windows 11 24H2 ( clean Install) and having an Issue with Diablo 4.
Left clicking on the mouse causes the game to stutter to the point of it being unplayable. Every time I left click it seems to loose game focus and go to desktop focus and then back again into Game focus really quickly. Clicking multiple times causes it to stutter severely making it unplayable.
Anyone having similar issue ?? or has experienced this ?
Thanks

Thanks for responding .
Iv done that iv disabled both corsair and asus harp software service wise and ran the game same issue.
This was not happening when I was running previous win 11 only started happening with 24H2.
Not surprised really. My desktop has yet to update to that, and I’m not in a hurry to get it. lol
Check and make sure your GPU Scheduling is enabled for one thing too.
As a side note, I run a Logitech MX Master 2S for my main mouse, but I also have a Razer Basilisk V2 that I use with FPS games.
And I run a Logitech G815 Linear keyboard. (which I hate more than the Razer it replaced) But I connect the mouse using the standard USB dongle. I do not use bluetooth, as that has too much latency.
Not sure how you connect your mouse, (it looks wireless) but if its using bluetooth, that could be an issue too.
As already covered this is likely one of the 24H2 version issues.
Make sure in your NVIDIA Control Panel the PhysX Processor is set to your GPU and not Auto.
As DTMace eluded to HWAGS needing to be enabled is key.
As a temporary workaround you may need to disable ReBAR support due to a bug in 24H2 until it’s addressed by Microsoft.
Lastly, overlays are causing crashes, stutters, and low frame rates.
Edit:
I did not see a driver mentioned for the GPU aside from “latest version”. I’d recommend doing DDU and installing the 561.09 version as the newer versions all have bugs at the cost of a security exploit on the older versions unfortunately.
I’m sure DTMAce can link you the instructions to get the roll back accomplished correctly as I’m on mobile and unable atm.
Latest Nvidia Drivers 566.14 - resizebar is off - connections of keyboard and mouse are wired into back of PC - Overlays OFF still having the issue with diablo 4…
but notice another game that had similar issue when left clicking but manage to fix this by putting game to Full Screen option rather than Borderless and it fixed that left click issue for that game.
Now from what im aware is that Diablo 4 does not come with a Full screen mode ?
So not sure if its an issue with W11-24H2 and Borderless games something to do with Game / Desktop focus when clicking left mouse mouse button.
But what may be going on is the refresh rate is different on the desktop vs the game settings.
Meaning:
(as an example)
You are running the desktop at the native refresh of say 165hz/165FPS.
But you are running the game at say 100FPS. This might cause the issue as well.
Exclusive full screen would change the refresh rates to match, but DirectX12 doesn’t support native full screen exclusive modes, so its the same for D4.
Are you running more than one monitor and do you have Xbox Game bar enabled?
There’s a bug in Windows 11 24H2 that’s been fixed and currently being rolled out to Windows Insiders which caused irractic mouse behavior when using multiple monitors and Xbox Game bar is initialized or can be running in the background.
No just a single monitor running and xbox game bar is off.
Iv gone through "Blizzard Support " with this issue but in all honesty they are not very good with support and limited with knowledge. Their outcome is to come on the forums and ask around for a solution.
Im like WTF support is this for a product that they sell
