I’m paragon 121 and haven’t seen one, neither has anyone in our clan of 50ish ppl that are all playing HC

Yes. I had been starting to wonder if they’d been quietly removed from the game, but they must just be even more rare now. (Maybe the drop rate increases on higher difficulties? I have only gone as far as Torment 1 so far.)
Paragon level 70, after 17 hours played, I found one in a NM dungeon on Penitent difficulty.
I think the overal lower droprate of gear might have an unintentional side effect of making them even rarer then they were.
In any case, this isn’t good and probably not planned. Died yesterday at lvl 50 cause of a short DC. Having a scroll might have saved my character (autotrigger when dc).

Yeah, this is my biggest concern. I’ve been disconnected twice already since the launch (issues with my ISP, not server stability). Mercifully, I survived, I’m sorry to hear that you got unlucky there. 
If you die when you have control of your character… well, too bad. But for disconnections at least, it would be nice to have an option which at least might save you.

Ive received 1 in 206 Paragon.
Found my first (and only) scroll at paragon lvl 137, either somewhat bugged or exceedingly rare now.
Level 200 paragon and haven’t seen a single one, actually I thought they were removed until this post -_-

I found one para 150 or so.
I’ve found several and I’m only p120. My first was at level 50-ish. I think they only drop in certain content. I’ve found all but one of them doing Whispers and other “over world” stuff. One I found (at level 25) in a dungeon I was clearing for an aspect unlock. Of course I’ve killed the butcher about 10 times already… he’s a bigger joke this season than ever before. Especially with the mercs. At least up to T1.
Not having a scroll of escape yet means my toon is probably dead…
Had just hit 50 still no scroll of escape. I was mid Boss fight on the corrupted spirit dude that splits in two mid fight .
My machine literally bricked right then and there.
So haven’t finished the campaign, and waiting til my machine is repaired.

This is just insane, im 238 paragon , 57 hours played and still didnt get a single scroll.
Just lost my 3rd character to disconnect.
This needs to be changed, either adjust that drop rate or make disconnect protection unrelated to the scroll.

Paragon 220 here, zero scroll of escape… Varshan Bariier bug is still unfixed as well…

Paragon 120; got 2 scrolls and already “used” them on disconnects. Now I just rip’n my character on DC’s, so fun. Pls adjust drop rates, dear Blizzard.

Lol, it’s HC-only, good luck finding one in SC.
I assume people know that sitting in “Hardcore” forum section. Also OP mentioned HC clan. Be reasonable, drop rate definitely go like 10 times down since last season.
I found mine at lvl 50 in a Stronghold on WT1 Hard Difficulty. Maybe the drop is related to open world activities ?

Logged in to forums after a few months specifically to ask this question. Until last season I used to get at least 1 by level 40. Now I am 50 and just about to start T1 and zero drops.
Use cases:
- Obviously against unfortunate DCs
- When in tough fights where you know you are barely escaping and bit more than one can chew
Looks like I have to stay at least 1 level lower until I get this. Really irritating.
For me it is NOT the solution. Like I mowing through the content but I can’t stay alive when game drops me to main menu. In S4 I had 5 lvl 100 characters. In this season I can’t get to T3 even, disconnects killing me. How I supposed to level my glyphs, I can’t stay on Normal all the time (and probably will die on Normal as well as DC timeout is 120 seconds!)
