This would make a great story on slashdot
Any gud writers want to submit one?
Some console players are having the same problem, let’s ask them to reduce their overclocking…
In fact we are all reasonable gamers and can understand that a patch is totally broken and wait for a patch like civilized and understanding people that we are.
No, the most worrying thing is the total lack of response, even from a “simple” forum moderator to tell us the progress of a “possible” fix.
But we are asking for something seemingly impossible.
This. Right here. Just do the, what should be normal, Customer Service thing and let everyone know you recognize the issue and are working on a fix.
I had 2 crash mostly in 100 hours of gameplay until this 27 June update. After the 27 June update , random multiple crashes, no timeframe, sometimes after 10 mins, sometimes after 20, had over 4 crashes in 40 minutes at one point, etc. However after turning on Windowed only (NOT Windowed Fullscreen) I had no crashes in 5 hours of intense gameplay.
I suggest trying that option and disable also Reflex if possible, see if that helps like it did in my case.

There is e new nvidia driver V.536.40 06/29/2023
edit: no crash (~20min)
Thats for the 4060, doesnt help any
downloading it now, let us pray
does it fix the crashing problem? I down graded my drivers to the previous version and still crashed.
I just submitted a crash ticket to Blizzard. They’ll need a DXDIAG and MSINFO file so they can diagnose further. Submit it here: Blizzard Support - Contact Support (battle.net)
I referenced this forum post on my ticket so they know it’s their recent patch that caused this issue and not us. I’m getting the same frequent crashes every 10-15 minutes too.

Atleast this guy stated they are investigating… but we really need a formal post, pinned notice or something in game stating they are working on fixing our issues
Their community engagement is lacking. It would be nice to have someone at least acknowledge that they are working on it. Not everyone will know about that random twitter post, so frustrating.
can confirm new drivers dont fix crashing for me. Crashed within 2 mins of opening my inventory
Exactly it needs a notice in the game menu just as they did for patch schedule
Oh my, communication about the literal game breaking bug. Reply to him and ask him to elaborate or something.
Same!!! crashing like a mofo!!! 5+ crashes yesterday. Ultimately led to my RIP. Really they need to implement the auto-scroll on crash/DC. Hopefully it detects it properly. I don’t know why you need to stay in the game for 10 seconds. Are they really that butthurt if people escape quit? I mean…they added scroll of escape into the game…
Maybe change the logout timer to 1 second. If someone esc exit, their death is probably a matter of miliseconds away anyway. 10 seconds is a bit extreme… That was a d3 decision that really can be removed at this point. D1 didnt have it. d2 didnt have it. PoE doesnt have it. Last EPoch doesnt have it… It’s really just silly. It will kill HC. It was fine on d3 - i dont think I ever crashed on d3.
Anyway…

Crashing like a mofo since 1.0.3…
@PezRadar has this gained enough traction yet to get a comment on? Many of us are not able to play and many others have had their hardcore characters die due to the crash. We’re all just looking for some sort of response or acknowledgment
Fix the game, more comments, more vision on this issue! Unplayable…

Here is a response from Adam, pretty lacking but SOME acknowledgement
Gotcha, thanks for the info!
