If you stack fury and use a resource potion you can have over 200 fury easily. That translates to Bout 65% damage increase on a one hander. That’s the single biggest damage increase you can get there.
So you would ramilami and use probably the crit to atk speed one on your other 1h, then edgemasters and 80% damage to stunned enemies on your 2handers. Overall that is almost 200%x increased damage and its necessary with one handers.
Luck bringer is only interesting with HotA on a weapon swap build. I use it but my hota has 65% lucky hit which means 20% from luckbringer is like 81% lucky hit chance.
Yup, thats exactly what id like to try. Just need that god damn ramaliding dong and a good edgemasters lol.
Same my only rama is a damn sacred drop
How is it 200% dmg increase when the weapon has a cap of 10-30%?
Or do you mean that combines with the other ones that increases dmg based off your primary resource?

I tested it, and my dual maces still deal more damage, sorry.

Yes, it makes huge difference if you have a lot of luck hit procs. It is not mandatory though, and I wouldn’t put it on a god roll piece of gear that I would Like to use on other builds.
warcry gives damage, lowers the cooldown of your other shouts, and lets you take a bleed on your basic. dswing wiill keep berserk up anyway so you really only need to proc it once rather than continously.
For warcry to lower your other CDs you have to give up another Glyph for Marshal, I don’t wanna do that.
update: had a good upgrade and since patch easily critting in the millions now. Highest I got was 1.5 M I think.

This sounds similar to the build I’m developing on my 57 barb. Perma berserking… chains, frenzy, double swing, Wrath ultimate, and the other 2 skills have a few options… currently using kick for some stuns and vuln, and Rallying Cry for more unstoppable.
At 57 I can do 20 nightmares with no major issues (holding off to 60 to go to T4) and it’s just a lot of fun to not have to run 3 stupid shouts all the time.
The only downside I have in this build is getting things started… Frenzy is not great for Fury generation, so if I use chains to trigger berserking and pull mobs close sometimes I can’t get enough fury to use a double swing in time to get the ball rolling before the initial berserk from chains expires. I could swap to a different basic, but the 15% attack speed bonus while maintaining 3 stacks of frenzy makes it a lot of fun once my berserk has had time to build up some duration.
What upgrade did you get? Are you consistently hitting 1m+, or is it just on stunned elites/bosses with vuln up?
How much strength do you have?
I mean its on stunned/vuln.
But I stun vuln everything all the time, thats the build.
Bosses just have to build to it, and then they die.
And got a nice vuln/crit/ core 2 hander mace.
So, it’s pretty constant through the whole dungeon that you’re at 1m+ ?
How much crit/vuln/core/strength do you have?
Reason I’m asking is I want to see where the big difference is. I’m hitting 280-450k pretty regularly with:
- 854 str
- 330 crit
- 164 vuln
- 427 core
- flat damage on DS is 20-25k on the skill tree
If you’re doing 2-5x more damage, I need to know why!
Yeah, looking quickly I have 397.3% crit dmg and 293.2 vuln.
Thats a major difference between our stats, especially vuln.
Did you get get the decimator paragon board and flawless technique one? a bunch of vuln/crit dmg in those.
I just opened up the decimator one. I took Warbringer first for the fortify and fury.
Definitely need more vuln. How much strength and flat damage do you have? Those are huge too.
I actually have less strenght than you, and my dswing is lvl 9 rn (+4 form gloves).
Dont forget about flawless technique, the crit dmg for 1 handers is really good.
Im using frenzy so im using it all.
Mine is 9 too. Strength and core damage are huge for increasing the flat. If you go to the skill tree and hover over your Double Swing, it’ll tell you the flat damage.
Mine is 20-25k
I have flawless with all the juicy fat rare nodes already. Haha! I initially went Carnage for the attack speed, but the rest of the rares aren’t worth it.
im 19.5k-24k.
I think thats where your extra strenght comes in too.
Biggest diff is the crit/vuln dmg between us i believe. That and I have a perfect 80% retribution aspect on my 2 hander.
Hi, a few questions about Dswing. Since I’m planning on respecing to it once I’m 100. How bug is its AoE? Is it more or less like just a few monsters in front of you or does it like a 180 degree damage area? And for vuln application did you get PP and exploit or just exploit?
The vuln for sure and I have a 40 Retribution on my 1h. Waiting for a good 2h upgrade to slap my other 40 I have ready.
You use both exploit for vuln damage and dswing applies vuln regardless.
Exploit is just for the extra dmg on vuln tbh.
AoE is a small cone in front of you. Its not going to compete for AoE with Hota or WW, thats for sure.

Thanks! Did you level up seething and ambidextrous by any chance? They both look kinda good for dswing. And how about your technique slot? Is it for polearms for the extra LH to proc PP?
