He traded for it. Obviously. That’s how we make billions.
So is the gold, bro. Which sounds like more fun - sitting on a pile of numbers with zero use at all or exchanging some of those pixels for another type of pixels that let you play the game more efficiently?
I am more shocked that after making diablo for 30 years they still can’t stop duping.
my take on this ?
too bad for Blizzard.
you refused to test your own game ? so… it is what it is.
Thats a lie.
Im the biggest complainer about tempering and ive never traded for anything ever.
blizzard is in no hurry to close the exchange in the game , which means it approves the use of such errors, and uses them herself + sells duplication methods to the Chinese
Known exploit and dupe and trading never taken down. Unreal. This season is 1/10. Completely botched on all levels. Balance. Bugs. Dupe defense. More bugs. 95% spiritborn playrate. More bugs. Druids MIA. More bugs. Shop works great though!
Hey game is fineeeeee
Thank you to Blizzard for their generosity. Many people in China have gained financial freedom through this bug. With this bug, they can earn 100000 US dollars in RMT in just one hour. Thank you, Blizzard
It’s been a year now, and Blizzard just won’t fix this bug. Blizzard can’t see any damage to the game, so why not shut down your damn trading system
I strongly suspect that Blizzard intentionally kept this bug and relied on third-party platforms to sell game props for profit. Otherwise, why could they let this bug go for so long without fixing it
Now only $10 is needed to buy a complete set of graduation equipment, and in-game coins cannot be used to buy a single piece of equipment due to copying
Maybe the dupers found out how to manipulate that identifier as well. We don’t know.
You must have in mind that a small(?) department at Blizzard is facing maybe thousands of dupers/exploiters/cheaters etc. They will never win this fight. The only way for me is to disable trading entirely and give us better RNG and/or upgrade options.
It’s not a RMT website, and the Sanctuary discord promotes diablo.trade and the discord has official Blizzard representatives on it. I think it’s pretty serious.
I’m about to quit this season too. Farming good quality gear is impossible so you sell what you don’t need and buy what you do, from other players. I had a gloves poof on me yesterday too. How the hell can I know what is duped and what is not? But farming for days for nothing is lame and with the economy being ruined as well by dupers, there is like no reason to play.
Diablo is a game where the whole point is to chase better gear… what is there to chase if nothing is valuable anymore?
Blizzard is really failing this expansion and season. Yes, the game changes itself are welcome, but:
- I think this is unworthy to be called an expansion. Too few new content that people do (who the hell does the Dark Citadel? It’s 100% pointless right now). I was HOPING for hard content, but it’s still the same casual-friendly pushover game. I mean… casual players don’t HAVE TO be in WT4, why does it have to be so easy?
- It may as well be called a season because this season we got like absolutely nothing. It’s way less content than previous seasons (because of “expansion”?).
- Bugs, bugs and bugs everywhere… Back in the day we bought physical copies of a game and it had maybe 1-2 bugs. Now apparently it’s normal to release unfinished, untested games and just bug fix the million bugs afterwards because you want to save money on testers. We, the players, are their testers.
This, spot on. If the only thing viable to do is farm better gear, why make it near impossible unless we have a sustainable trading system where duped items can’t be traded off to other players just to have it vanish. The duper keeps the gold, the innocent player gets screwed twice over. How is that in any way, shape or form apart of a game developed by a multi-billion dollar company? This is absurd.
Implementing and refining a streamlined trading system is definitely something that should be on the top of their list right now.
You could just not trade with strangers and play the game
I mean Everquest and WoW basically had this system, all the best stuff you had to be there yourself to loot it. I see zero problem with this system, you want good items? then play and beat said bosses yourself to get said items
The reason why it doesn’t happen is because there’s corruption going on within Blizzard. People are giving favors to friend websites.
Happened with TL too, and I mean look, I LOVE TB he was great 95% of the time but he once got someone banned because he freaked out and used his power poorly. I get it he was hurting and dying but it still happened.
There is a danger to letting 3rd parties ruin websites and it keeps being demonstrated. It’s why I dislike official communications happening on Reddit or Discord, because due to the nature of the format it becomes very hive minded or you get excluded.
D.T and TL both should be cut right off as official supported platforms and for good reason.
Trade is a big part of an ARPG loot hunter for a lot of people. It’s okay to not like it, but not everyone enjoys games the exact way you do.
Blizzard should better facilitate the trade game in Diablo 4.
Diablo trade is not an RMT site it is just a platform for listing items and services to exchange.
Not necessarily. Yes RMT drives the market prices up in general the infulx of gold has to come from somewhere.
But someone can get gold just by entering into the over inflated market by selling first. I do this when I am done with the season and sell my boss mats or nice multiGA gear I will not use. The Gold stacks up quickly and I don’t RMT at all.
This is just a scenario created by those that do RMT, but if you are trading just sell first and you will have the means to buy later on.
It almost appears as if issues emerged internally and then spread west.
I doubt its a conspiracy if that’s what you mean. People are stupid, this stuff happens.
