Diablo IV: Into the Endgame!

Not really, once the meta builds are defined, everyone will look for those specific items.

Maybe, Maybe not ;o

Of course, Strenght doesnt seem like the alternative for a Sorc

Do u want to play an unlimited Mana sorc, With High Willpower for regen?

Or you want to build a Crit build for sorc with High Dex

Then , you have kind of options, Would you prefer a +8 All stats , Over a +12 Int?

Like i said, There’s many options on the table, and its just the beginning

I’M still a bit clueless, about the new mechanisms, like Overpower/Vulnerable/Unstoppable etc ;o

Lets hope they add more in time. I’m not expecting these changes at launch as they have their hands full fixing bugs, optimizing, and number tweeking.

Overpower is essentially like a crit without being a crit. When it procs, your base damage increases by the amount of how much Overpower you have on your gear. Some Skills proc Overpower frequently, and in those cases, Overpower will more important for your build.

Vulnerable is a state that can be applied to enemies and makes them take increased damage from your attacks.

Unstoppable is the same mechanic as in D3 where you can move through enemies and you can’t be CC’d. Instead of being a legendary power on a pair of boots, it is a mechanic pretty much all classes have access to some degree within their skill tree.

main stats str, dex, int, wil
armor
resistance
magic nodes have increased of whatever stat it is
rare nodes have increased something to a skill or stat or something else entirely
there are also nodes for physical, shadow, fire, cold, poison, bone, blood, and whatever else I have missed damage
nodes with attack speed, movement speed, damage over time for shadow and poison (I am not sure on fire or cold)
legendary nodes focus on the skill set you are working on in your build and varies by class.
sockets for the glyphs that you have to level up in nightmare dungeons. based on the rarity and level of the glyph determines how big its radius is. based on what is best for the glyph on the board itself. also what level the glyph is determines how strong it is on the board. 8 boards to choose at start with possibly many more later down the line with seasons/expacs

I’m sure I missed a few bits.

I’m sure you also noticed there is no respec button on the paragon boards…

Isn’t the reset the most important facet of having a season?

Very nice, Thanks for the extra details

I’m really curious about some really strong nodes, near the end of the boards, that will be tricky to get

And, 1 thing that i really like about the Parangon is , Plenty of Path’s that are kinda multi-options , aka you are not forced into 1 specific line, and having to take 10 specific nodes to get 1 ( unless maybe the very strong unique ones later )

And who knows, maybe there is way around boards, to come back from another side, to pick a certain ability

All in all, Huge potential in this

So you are saying that Parangon set up would be final?

There is probably ways to un-node , specific items/drops , That would be tradeable or giggles

Some glyphs maybe?

There’s gonna be some stuff for sure

I thought you were joking, but its definitely Paragon.

I apologize for my OCD nature.

Anyone else notice that Joe Shely looked extremely tired in the video. Poor Joe. Someone give that guy some food and a day of sleep.

These paragons are whelming. I mean, come on Bliz…

I caught on to the pattern of the dungeons the first day. They are all sequenced and you know exactly the next lay out of the next dungeon as soon as you enter based entrance tile lay out. OCR with that will tell you exactly the best path, and you can set that up in a day or less.

What is OCR? Is that some addon?

Software.

Why use software to tell you the best direction in a dungeon to go? Isn’t the point of dungeon variety to have fun figuring out the maze?

Nothing new was in this video really. I guess if you weren’t in closed beta and didn’t look at the datamined info that included all the paragon boards it might have been new, but it seemed like some of the recordings they included in this “new” information were actually taped awhile back.

For example, one lady in the video talks about aspects dropping as an independent item at the end of dungeons, which they also talked about years ago in a blog, but since then I don’t think that actually happens anymore? You either unlock a codex power on completion or find legendary items that have an aspect on them now.

As far as people talking about “paragon is just +5 stats,” that is what many nodes are, but not all. Each board has one big power that’s basically like a legendary aspect. Glyph slots have more complex powers than just +5 stats also, but you have to level them like legendary gems in D3 sort of. You get xp for glyphs doing nightmare dungeons.

You can look at all the datamined paragon boards on https://lothrik.github.io/diablo4-build-calc/ until the main sites add them. Pick a class, zoom out on the calculator and go up to the top, all the paragon boards are up along the top side of the calculator.

From what I can tell is that each “section” of the dungeon has its own layout. Each lay out can be determined by what the area looks like when you enter it. So you use a third party tool image match the entrance area and then give you the lay out of that section ahead of time.

It isn’t that there is 120 different dungeon designs it is that there is different patterns of dungeons. For example: You have 8 section types with 5 different layouts and a total of 3 sections = 120 dungeon layouts.

They said nightmare dungeons will have more objectives.

Thanks for the Datamined Board , making my day
