Oh yes definitely!
These Nightmare Dungeons look like the real engame content. They mentioned that there’s additional objectives. I hope they add some exciting new mechanics to these Nightmare Dungeons!

“Additional objectives” in Nightmare Dungeons sound good. Would be nice to see optional objectives players could choose to do, for additional rewards.

Helltides still sound like the best endgame activity in D4.
But yeah, as always… add a solo/private toggle, so we can play in that overworld without having to suffer random people running around.

Still zero description of how they will ensure that Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides and Tree of Whisper keep up with each other in difficulty and rewards.
Sure didn’t succeed at that in D3.
It seems absolutely paramount for their stated goal of “playing your way” for endgame in the video, as well as just paramount of good endgame design in general.

Some kind of “Boss Arena” (Uber bosses or whatever you want to call it) seems like the next logical endgame activity to add.

Did they say PEEVPEE?

I do not care what fault finders (nit pickers) say D4 is really starting to look good.

“Launch is just the beginning”

In mid-April , we will publish a blog on our news site that details how we’ll translate player feedback into improvements for Diablo IV. On April 20, 11 a.m. PDT , members of the Diablo IV development team, accompanied by a special guest host Rhykker, will return for the next Diablo IV Developer Update Livestream , where they’ll further elaborate on our planned improvements! They’ll also delve into the flames and share additional details about endgame systems.

A blog and a live stream for April, bring it boys, bring it.

I know language evolves and all that, but I always appreciated a certain distinction between the terminology in Diablo versus - for example - WoW.

PvM versus PvE.

PK versus PvP.

So maybe they said PEEVPEE, but they meant PK. :innocent:

WOW +5 attributes… super complex paragon…

Wait, paragon boards are just +5 to stats? LMAO

Our worst fears have been realized then.

Yeah, that is quite depressing.

I am not even the slightest surprised though.
Blizzard gonna Blizzard.

First, its Parangon

And there is all types of nodes

There is unique slots which boosts specific abilities

There is socket slots which can be glyphed with various different glyphs

There is blue/yellow nodes that are fairly standard stats boosts

But there seemed to be a lot of path, and seemed to have a lot of different choices

When you say stat boosts do you mean ONLY the 4 attributes (str etc.) or other ones too?
If there are more, any examples of what they could be? As a pro-tip to Blizzard, seems like something it would have been brilliant to show in your PR material…

PVP is very fun, but the problem is that once a certain profession is too strong in PVP during the live broadcast, Blizzard’s traditional culture has not always had the option of buffing other professions!
It’s just that they will take a lazy approach, hot-fix the currently strong items, nerf to the point that even the PVE experience will become worse!

When the official uses weakening skills, deleting skills, weakening the original quality and special effects of equipment, and reducing damage data, these negative ways to balance are all hurting the PVE experience, but they have no supporting measures!

There is another question, they have not responded positively, how does PVP work well with the season mode (character reset)?

Unless Season mode only can have exclusive achievements to obtain party icon borders, titles, even armor sets kit parts(equipment for shaping) as rewards…

But new content and others elements(including new drops, etc…) should not be part of the “rewards” for playing seasons, or delayed by 3~6 months before being placed in the non-season mode, must be synchronized to solve the problem!

is it just me or none of these faces have the same kind of impact brevik or wilson had?

in 20 years when we think about d4 will you remember any of these faces?

youll remember brevik and wilson tho.

i think d4 need a face. one, not a whole team. and preferably memeable/memorable.

Well, pretty sure i have seen Armor , Resistance

Sadly, we havent seen many nodes, There is also connected Boards , which i have no idea how they work , are they static

Some more of the legendary nodes, probably the best ones, are near the ends of the boards, so, you have sacrifices to make, to reach them one way or another

With approx 220 points to place, it shall be interesting

Btw, Im gonna play an INTEL barb  Want to be creative!

Maybe it wont work well, but to be honest, just the diversity of things that the 4 main stats gives, allows quite a bit of flexibility

Of course, you can probably always play a dex rogue, or int necro or whatever is pretty standard, but there’s gonna be creative options out there

As Ive seen someone mentionning on forums, a Lucky Hit Meteor build

We’ll see interesting stuff, Ill probably create a thread once the game is launched for people to share their creative builds/ways to play

Screw cookie cutter overpowering stuff , that is kinda boring lol

Next one will be class customization. Hmmm, I thought I heard Joe say that the Beta was only a part of the customization - I hope I heard right!
