On the plus side, D4 got me to do house chores I actually didn’t want to do… I went outside, touched grass some toon suggested on here…
… in fact after playing D4, I met a really attractive lady that was into outdoors, we got married last week and moved into a house with white picket fences and are hoping to have a family of 3 in the future and are six figures in debt!
Thank you D4… thank you Blizzard, best $99 I ever spent.
Ahhhh who am I kidding, nah D4 just made me realize I don’t want to do 70 more levels of grind in S1 for a potato on a long stick.
This, 100%. I used to hate on D3 and then got into the Seasons after Season 3 and it really changed it for me. I was able to play a season, get fun gear and sets that actually made a difference and felt like I was being progressively more powerful.
The keystone system wasn’t perfect, but it gave you full control on the level of challenge you wanted. You could do a weaker torment level if you wanted to farm, or a higher one to climb up charts and compete with friends.
Also, the community and in-game chat were so much better. In D4 you feel isolated from everyone even though you’re in a (fake) persistent world.
To be fair I started as a sorc, stopped at 45 (wonder why), since then I have played rogue, and I’m incredibly bored. Yes I can kill stuff easy, do everything fast and without issues, but it’s just boring, so it’s back to going through the backlog of games I have yet to complete.
It’s called “you need to grind” to enjoy it. Kids. They just don’t want to work these days ever. Everything is supposed to just be available to the player standing in one position. No one wants to be forced to have to move around the game or do anything. Players would be just as happy if they could just sit on their couch, eat their chips, drink their beer/soda/wine/water and push one button the entire time and be placed at the very top of the leader board (once there are some) and claim victory when having done nothing (or cheated to get there).
they dont actually listen to the community, thats why they pay psychologists to guess what the people want next, they did this on purpose to cause a fire, everyone wants to see whats burning, they will rebuild but it will still be worse than the pre season
That is the action rpg way, save difficulty is based on the player and their luck with gear. Well until you hit endgame stuff, which is Uber Lilith right now.
