All I want are OPTIONS that were promised to me , play how you want. If you can have tons of hairstyles ear rings and tattoos then I better have a damn option to be a leaner toned down Druid in touch with nature. This needs to addressed and at the minimum I’m expecting sliders to not have play a bloated one body type Druid.

Exactly. These people have an agenda to get a proper, burly physique out of the game because they are tiny little ectomorphs. Stand together, embrace burly bear physiques!

Incorrect. You can customise the hero avatar, not make a custom avatar. The druid has a burly bear/powerlifting physique so the “silhouette” of it is identifiable.
Same principle you can’t play Reinhardt but choose a genji skin.

No sure why tiny guys think that low body fat % matters, other than they are skinny to begin with?
Meanwhile , in reality, all the people we depend on in our communities are big burly guys that like a pint.
(but it’s …vague…on what the options are for, from that list)

I tried, literally, IRL…and it worked (barely)…minimal issues with it, however…I don’t see the type killing no damn demon hordes with WIND at that (bear spec…maybe…if you pretend they draw on the bear spirit 24/7 to be able to run for that long).

You think the strongman/woman physique is body positive. That is pure mass and strength. Overweight - yes.
“The druid shouldn’t have an ounce of fat.” I bet you think manatees are fat - Fun fact manatees are around 5% body fat. Seriously I am playing druid on launch the body build is awesome. There is nothing cute and cuddly about 300 lbs of Endomorph swole dudu.
The fantasy of the druid is 100% subjective. Druids do not exist in real life.

DAMN IT Blizzard…druid looks fine in live action trailer.
On the plus (giggle) side even more ppl will have a (likely unpleasant) surprise when they buy it without looking into things to avoid spoilers (or being new to the whole thing).
Go on, imagine the one we have in that exact scene with the moving animations it has ingame.

The manatee has a LOT of body fat, however, its fat is intramuscular. He doesn’t have a fat pad like the bear.
They do look fine in the live action. Probably because no actor as fat as the druid could run as much as was required for the shot.

When I first saw the in-game gameplay trailer all I could think of and all I shall ever see is:

I really hope they never add changes to body-type, all this chronic whining over nothing. I rather see them get all pissy because they deserve it.

Leveling and maining aren’t the same. There’s nothing wrong with people who do intend to main it because of the archetype expressing disappointment at the aesthetic look. I imagine if they gave barbarians the physical build of say track star instead of body builder There’d be plenty of complaints. D2 druids weren’t built this way the druid community has every right to be miffed.

I am definitely going to main druid. I tried all classes but necro. Druid was by far the most fun for me. Male druid i think looks great. Big for sure but also strong. Female i don’t have an opinion on.
If they can’t deal with the aesthetic as is… don’t play it, I will NEVER show sympathy to these people making an entire mountain range out of a bump on the ground. I don’t care what D2 did… nothing D2 did matters right now and it’s irrelevant, this is a D4 discussion. If they can’t move forward into the future, tough, I’ll gladly drink their tears out of a nice golden chalice.
Except d2 established the first iteration of the archetype, so it’s natural people would be disappointed. If i was a dev i’d make all the barb models lithe and see what happens, just to see if you’re serious.
