Squeaky grease gets the wheels!

Maybe Blizz will pay attention.

A dual talent specialization is desperately needed as well
I have so much gear for different specs and I want to try them all but switching is extremely frustrating
We should have at least 1 slot that we can press a button to change to
if not more. That includes the paragon board as well

  1. Variety of buffs on Champion mobs instead of just one purple damage reduction, with different colours for different mods like life regen aura, haste aura, damage aura etc (dark colours, not like current shiny purple which looks bad and remains of colorfull Diablo 3 whimsycrap)
  2. World Tier 5 is clearly missing, once you are 80+ with a few aspects there is no difficulty and worldwide roaming feels borring when you one shot an elite
  3. World Boss HP and damage greatly increased, World Boss killed in seconds on T4 is a joke, travel takes longer than the fight, it shouldn’t be even named a World Boss, but bigger monster with animations. Not to mention that rewards sucks
  4. Variety of monsters, atm it feels like you kill the same monsters everywhere, bandits, goats, ghosts, snakes and musician demon with rattle

Nah, you want way too much spoonfeeding. It’s already a blessing that we get to enchant in the first place. It’s not even expensive. Loadouts, unsure about. Certainly a refund all option on the paragon board. Levelling 1-50 as well? Lol. Just play the damn game and understand the class it is you’re using. 1-50 is a big chunk of the game!

  1. This one is a HUGE disappointment. In the endgame beta, you started with 1k max obols and this slot gave a skill point from the Renown System. We have five less skill points now than the endgame beta had.

We did get four more paragon points from Lilith statues.

List is mostly good but missing a big one for me. Do you not care that base item type doesn’t matter at all?

For example D2 Class ‘Heavy’ Armors had higher def rolls and required more STR but gave you move speed penalty. Light armors were lighter and less def, but no speed penalty. Different sorts of swords had different damage ranges/attack speeds/hit range.

Here every base is literally just a transmog. It does not matter at all. All you are looking for is the affix rolls.

For me, this is either a massive oversight, unfinished, or lazy development.

edit: google ‘d2 elite armors’ and click the arreat summit link for an example.

Nipple cripple tactics again

Not sure what game you’re playing, but unless you get extremely lucky with RNG in the first few enchant attempts, it quickly becomes absolutely insane how expensive it is.

If you are savvy about what you enchant it can be manageable though. For example on my rogue, it’s much easier to roll +attack speed than it is to get like +3 Twisting Blades. Making a glove that dropped the TB on it more valuable as I know i’ll get my IAS within like 3 rolls

As it should. Before we actually had to grind items for perfect affixes, imagine!

Just because you’re a masochist doesn’t mean everyone else has to be.

Rerolling a single affix on an item shouldn’t cost hundreds of millions of gold if you don’t hit the RNG quickly. At the very least they should cap the gold per attempt.

Another flaw in the system that should be addressed. All affixes should have an equal chance to roll at the Occultist. Sometimes I see IAS 10-11 times in a row. Seems bugged.

Hundreds of millions? If you’re re-rolling it that many times then you should’ve binned it a long time ago.

I’m just saying there are certain things not worth trying to roll for. It’s better to find the hard ones on the base, and roll for the more common ones that are still good. I dunno how I am masochist because of stating this fact.

I do. But that’s the point. We shouldn’t have to throw away an item with 3/4 great stats because enchantment costs are so ridiculous.

That was a reply to Chez, not you.

But you’re right. Certain things are currently not worth rolling for. That’s an issue that should be fixed. Why should the occultist’s enchantment offerings not be totally random with equal weights?

Ah. I am okay with this though. It creates economy by making stuff that dropped the more coveted affix on the base worth more. Bigger fish to fry than enchanting system imo

First, this was an excellent comprehensive post, and something the Designers should draw upon for their review meetings.

I would also add that Being able to trade any or all items is integral to the future success of the game. Likewise Security systems need be in place to control, limit and make using bots inefficient and frustrating. Warframe for example has a fantastic control + limitation system in place to keep Trade working well. Materials should be made tradeable in limited quantities. Perhaps there should be an Auction House, using Gold only. Gold should never be purchasable via online Shop.

Have to stress the importance that players available visual, cosmetic and transmog range should have no limitations, and should be fully available in the Wardrobe, not unlike the character creation screen.

Inventory tabs should be fully expandable with ramping gold expense to 20 Tabs, and beyond that should cost $1.99 as database expense to maintain susbsequent tabs.

There’s no excuse to wait to season 2 to get Gems into the Materials tab. As a former Manager of Programmers, I can flat tell you, you need 1x Coder, 1x Visual Designer, a few QA people to get this done inside a week, actually 3 days tops.

something i would add:

  1. add character loadout system
  2. remove any power related reward from renown, make renown reward additional stash space/loadout slots or cosmetics
  3. buff side quest to reward new elixir recipe or some base-roll aspects
