New to D3 etc.
Unable to download either Battlenet App or D3.
Have scoured forum, nothing current within last few days. Each time I attempt to DL app or D3 it simply fails. Have tried on IE and FF browsers. Other generic downloads are still possible which means my connection is fine which begs the question of the us.battle.net server having issues.
Can someone please clarify as having spent money on a game that I cannot access seems entirely wasteful and redundant.

There’s an issue with the Battle.Net download when you try to install from the default location (Battle.net App – Blizzard Entertainment).
Instead, follow the workaround suggested by Blizzard here:
Hopefully, that will work for you.
Once you have the Blizzard Battle.Net Desktop App installed, you can follow the steps here to install Diablo III.

Hey guys, I have the same problem. I wasnt able to download battle net tho, the same thing happens to me as when I try to download D3.
Its ridiculous that blizzard one of the most powerful, rich and prominent game developers have this broken of a system where people cant even download a simple installer…
Anybody knows any other way to get around this frustrating issue?

I am facing the same issue. I got a very good connection. Tried downloading other big files and able to but when it comes to Diablo I can’t download it
So did you try the accepted solution that’s listed in the thread?
Also, did you notice you’re bumping a thread that was solved 11 months ago…
