I was to say same thing. Goblin event would be good.
We have the fissures now with all their goblins. Seasonal players have double bounty caches all year round except for the few weeks between seasons and before they fill up their altar.
Double goblins is - and always was - a pointless gimmick from an era before the new sets when the game was in a pretty dire state.

Because Diablo 4 and Diablo Immortal got their goblin event in June. So I assumed that D3 should get it too considering that all the maintenance team needs to do is just switch on the double goblin event with one click.

D3 players don’t pay outrageous $$$ for gear and cosmetics, so they aren’t doing D3 any favors. Kind of meaningless anyways with the goblins as most players are sitting on 5 or 6 figures worth of mats.

Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV were released June 2, 2022 and June 5, 2023, respectively.
Tomorrow is June 1, 2024.
Come one, come all to celebrate the 1-year anniversary of Diablo IV, and the 2-year anniversary of Diablo Immortal!
Diablo III was released May 15, 2012.

I could accept a late gift. Now about two weeks have passed and what have we got in that delightful wednesday anyway? Nothing; then I think that will be the case on the foreseeable future. I reckon they rather prefer you to install Diablo Immortal for 5-star gem rewards, or at least spend money on Diablo 4 shop to buy something that fits your new cosmetics. Let’s be honest that Diablo 3 is not in the bucket list.

The only interest that the double goblin bonus could have would be if we could open several instances of Whimsydale in a game.

Well, they didn’t do anything for D3 on any of the other anniversaries, so they probably figure “Why start now?”.
Hell pretty much every anniversary, D3 didn’t even get a simple acknowledgement from Blizz until a thread pop up about it for many hours. Even then, it was a CM post on some social media site with a very, very simple “Happy anniversary D3”.
D3 has always been the red headed step child. I didn’t expect they would do much when it wasn’t in maintenance. Now that it is, well, anything above zero would totally shock me.
Yup and they wouldn’t be doubled in Bandit Shrines, Greed Portals, or Goblin Packs (which would definitely include Visions). It would be a dead event if it happened. Pretty much the same as doing a “Double Bounty Cache” event at this point.

You really expect them to listen to you? Game does not make any money for them. You now have Microsoft on board so look for them to pull D3
