I’m going by what other players have been reporting. Which is the opposite.
You have the information as its stated, but that information is either outdated, or not applying to this current issue.
People that have done a personal roll back have gotten back all their items, gear, and mats. Not limited. Not specific. All of it. Which is directly contrary to what is listed on the website and what you are being told.
But go ahead. Believe them. They are the same people that said they were going to cancel the NA shutdown of Season 33 too.
omg HAPPYMONK! I always see you on the leaderboards ahead of me xD Happy to help you out brother if you need levelling or gear share or anything, add my btag.
This goes for anyone, happy to powerlevel or gear share or anything to get y’all back on track.
I had to try a few times, I think that the service is under load atm with everyone trying the same thing, I hope it starts working again soon and you get your rollback in!
Yeah, that’s the link I was given. As you can see. Not much is said. And customer service knows little to nothing more.
Link was just shared above
Fair enough. But overall, if I can’t believe customer support then I can’t believe players either A least I’ve got SOME info about how they work. Players can’t be trusted just because they said something
That makes sense. As for the date, it may be the 5th for some, and the 4th for others. For me it would have had to been the 4th. But I chose not to rollback, and instead have rolled with it as-is. But that was my choice.
Just as an update. I asked Pez for an update via X, to see if there is any other additional information to share with us regarding the status or any upcoming additional changes.
As noted above, CS/GM staff can really only point you to what tools or information is available. Remember how PezRadar indicated internal communications being a major failure point in this fiasco? This is part of that - the CS/GM staff haven’t been notified about the loosening of restrictions on the rollback feature. You’ll still probably “eat” one of the three rollbacks you get, but if you want your stuff back and to continue the season, it’s the only way to do it. Ultimately though the choice is up to you. Nobody will fault you for choosing to leave it alone if that’s what you want to do.
With any luck, the rollback feature will be permanently set to how it’s working now, since it’d make everything account bound anyway (assuming it works properly). At least we’ve got the option to do that here. If this had happened in Diablo 4 we’d be screwed as there is no rollback feature there.
If you play on Eu, the us link isn’t working. And vice versa.
At least in my case that’s what happened. I play on eu. The us link gave me the same message. Then I went to the eu link and it worked first try.
Or maybe it’s just a coincidence.
Do we have any info. on when S33 will end and S34 will start? I need to know because I want to plan when I should do the challenge rift. If S-34 is starting on Friday, 1/10/2025, then I will wait for the new season to start. If it going to start at around the beginning of Feb. 2025 then I will do this weeks CR.
If the definite date is not set yet that is OK then just let me know if it is not going to be 1/10/2025.
It would be a safe assumption during normal times. However, the current state of affairs shows that we are not in the normal times. Someone or some group within Blizzard screwed up and now we are left scrambling to recoup some of the time lost. Mistakes happen so, I’m asking the question. Hopefully, in answering the question, the folks managing the servers and the seasons will verify that the timers are set to the appropriate dates and they can then provide accurate answers. I have doubts that the season is going to abruptly end again, in 2 days, without notice, but again mistakes happen.
