I don’t even have the wings and I wouldn’t want them to bring them back and screw over the people that got these rare wings. It makes me cringe when people make posts like this because Blizzard will probably end up listening. They LOVE catering to casuals.

If Blizzard just starts giving away cosmetics that others either paid for or earned, then their credibility will dissolve. Why bother participating or spending the extra on a box set if down the track Blizzard is just going to give it away. I for one would be insisting on a refund, exclusive to me is exclusive.

Emerald dragon was a seasonal pet from season 11. Assuming Blizz is going on a regular rotation of reusing past season rewards he should be available in season 23. Current season reused season 9, so… :thinking:

I was dedicated. I used my Wallet to buy a collectors edition. You wernt around then and didnt forsee these items being rare. Well TO BAD for you.
Just cause you say your dedicated and have play since season 6. Well ive been here since RELEASE.
Dont try take away my Prize just cause you think your missing out.

Yup. Nothing wrong with timed exclusives. Yeah it sucks for those not around or for thise without the money, but too bad. Life isn’t fair, sorry you missed out.

There are so many wings available anyway… I have 12 so far, but there are only 6 which I like to use: Cosmic, Galactic, Mercy’s gaze, Dedicated, Trag’oul and Lempo :slight_smile:

Hi, yeah, this is actually good post, there are few questions. What is the logic of having nice attractive in-game goodies if they are un-obtainable? i mean isn’t that some bad marketing ? Shouldn’t you try to make us “digital garbage collectors?” Why wouldn’t u make those wings or all cosmetics objective/achievement oriented? Or maybe even “farmable” as this is grinding game?

As plenty of others had stated earlier in this thread; the items in question were exclusive incentives for either getting the collector’s edition of Diablo 3, or pre-ordering RoS. If you just plop them in the game, you pretty much just slapped the people who actively participated in the face. It’s a shame that you missed out, but that’s what it is.

Well, it still smells like “don’t u guys have mobile phones” thing … i mean if one is following at least for a bit what is happening on leader-board scene than it should be known that 99% of them are what they are :smiley: but that is another story … still who cares for exclusiveness :face_with_monocle: point is , exclusiveness=bad marketing… making someone collector of digital trash=good marketing…

You don’t care for exclusiveness, yet others do, hence they actually went out their way to participate. Again, if you missed out or couldn’t get them for whatever reason, it’s a shame, but it is what it is and there’s little changing that.

i think being rank 1 on leader-board is much more exclusive … again looks like someone missed the point of definition of exclusiveness in D3… “ahh he has those wings of valor please God let me play with him” , “he is so exclusive” . Every time when i join on discord to chat with my friends we always talk about exclusive wings!!! and especially those lucky guys that have that wings !!!

What does that have to do with it?

These Cosmetics may be “exclusive” in that they can only be earned by methods that are no longer available or require certain actions. (Like killing extremely rare monsters or completing the Season Journey).

Why?

I spend my time completing the tasks that will earn me the rewards.

Lucky?

They spent the money to purchase or pre-order the products. They spent the time grinding for rare Bosses to get those Cosmetics.

You sound like you don’t want to earn your rewards. You would rather buy them. No bragging rights there. (Except maybe that you have some extra pocket change to buy your rewards with).

I think it’s more that you want Diablo 3 exclusiveness to be tied to a leaderboard ranking, when the game had never offered any such exclusive rewards in the first place. Most exclusive rewards in Diablo 3 is tied to either extreme luck (cosmic wings), seasonal journey (stash tabs, pets, wings, and penchants), or time based (as in buy or do something before a specified date in order to be eligible). The wings of valor are an example of a time based reward; you needed to had pre-order the RoS in order to be eligible; if you didn’t, then you don’t get the wings.
