You can’t get phy immunity though & you will scicifice many better leg powers too.
A form of Physical immunity is stacking armor…?
Hydras casting Frost Nova is incredibly disruptive, particularly in group play. Could we change it instead that Hydras do something else? Perhaps deal X% damage to enemies within 15 yards? That seems to be the easiest fix rather than casting some kind of spell. It’s even more fitting with the theme of this monstrous, magical creature standing right beside you but not dealing any damage to you until it attacks.
Another 3 new sets and some armor changes, I have already full stash playing non-season, what about more stash space, its really needed imo.
Whooooooa whoa whoa, that’s now how any of this works. It’s still three total cube powers - you can just pick those 3 from any category, instead of having to have one from each. If I need to make this clearer for future versions of the patch notes, I absolutely will! Apologies for any unintended confusion.
Lol, so that’s the buff we are getting? I thought we gonna get 9 items in total which would have made it fun at least.
Lol, the seasonal theme is so lackluster and boring then…
Skip this season it seeems. Well, at least you’ve freed up me some time Thanks for that though.
Don’t be an idiot, you thought 9 cubed powers was a good idea?
I bet even if we had 9 cube powers every class will still be less powerful than in season 19 with the kill streak affects.
you thought 9 cubed powers was a good idea?
I believe some think it might bring more diversity or something. Even though the actual effect would be completely opposite.
it would make LoD completely utterly useless during the season.
even those 3 freely usable cube powers are diminishing the usefulness of LoD by a little bit for the season.
which is probably good cus we wanna see the new sets in action i guess
Lon rings made reg legs would of been better, stacking with lod. Useless legs made better New theme ill try it I got a few ideas but,its hard to say what will transpire.
Lol, so that’s the buff we are getting?
The seasonal theme doens’t always mean a buff. It’s about bringing new (and hopefully interesting and enjoyable) ways to play and enjoy the game, and in term of enjoying the game, power isn’t everything. Just like in D2 I always enjoy the Summon Nec build even though it’s probably one of the the weakest build in term of power.
And this season provides that. With the freedom to cube, who know how crazy and effective the builds people’re going to come up with? And if it’s effective, just like season of nightmares, maybe they’ll come back as a game-breaking mechanic (i.e a ring/amulet which allows people to freely choose cube powers).
Skip this season it seeems.
Sorry, and bye.
I believe some think it might bring more diversity or something. Even though the actual effect would be completely opposite.
How could it be opposite? There cannot be less build with the season theme than without. Basically you have already existing builds + new builds using the theme. And even the number of new builds is basically zero, the number of the builds stays the same! And we will just have a relatively boring new seasons (except for the new sets and new builds they might provide), which is just like before all the “seasonal themes”.
How could it be opposite?
If one could select 9 cubed powers, he’d pick only the best ones. When there’s only 3 slots, one has choose between the powers. The more you pick from a limited pool of options, the less potential combinations you have.
From a matchematical point of view 9 powers would give more combinations but keep in mind that there much much fewer useful powers for each build than actual powers available. For some builds 9 cubed powers might be even more that the build could even benefit from.
I’m sorry you had to make a wall of text out of nothing when you clearly can’t read between the lines.
I didn’t mean that it must buff something directly. I only meant to say seasonal feature/theme and it is stated in my post below that sentence… Useless response.
Sorry, and bye.
Wow, you must feel so cool about yourself and so kind to bid me a farewell Thanks for the bye but I’ll find my own way out of it captain useless.
9 cube buffs would make the game a bit boring… u use all 4 immune ammy’s and will never die.
pleas, Devs, add Mirror Image to Wiz set!
2-Piece Bonus: Double the duration of Mirror Image and Hydras and increase the number of heads on multi-headed Hydras by two.
4-Piece Bonus: Damage taken is reduced by 50% as long as you have at least one active Hydra or one active illusionary copy. Each time you take damage, a Hydra heads dies.
6-Piece Bonus: Hydras deal ???% increased damage for each Hydra head alive. Mirror Image gains the effect of the Mirror Mimics rune and spells cast by your Mirror Images will deal ???% of the damage of your own spells.
add more Hydras…
Serpent’s Sparker - You may have 3-4 extra Hydra active at a time and they deal 450-600% increased damage.
and rework this leg plz…
Archmage’s Vicalyke - Copies no longer take damage, but if the Wizard takes a survival bonus or a death blow, one of the copies dies instead.
thank you!
Welp, still no reason for me to ever return. DH has been ignored for to long. These DEVS are discriminating against the DH and they know it. Why the hell is Barb getting two seasons of buffs before other classes. This is seriously backwords. Wizards already have alot of good builds, and a hydra set is worthless when Talrasha gives more DPS anways.
This PTR should have at the very least been Necro, DH, and WD. NOT barb again, or WIZARD which has gotten alot of changes over the last years PTRS. Well, back to ignoring D3 again. After repeated disapointments it makes sense why the DH community is basically gone.
Why the hell is Barb getting two seasons of buffs before other classes.
Perhaps because they had absolutely no treats for 4-5 years prior to this season.
Since we cant vote down. Here is my vote thumbs down! Ignoring DH was not smart.
I was under the impression that they are working on it. just isn’t going to happen with season 20.
