Hello Again Diablo āIIā fans,
I wanted to jump back in this discussion and try to bring in another example of this being just a matter of how you want to play based on your peripheral.
The best way I think is to not divide between and PC and Console so letās start with this.
Fighting games. Letās just say Street Fighter V. This game is available everywhere right? PC and Console.
I think we can all agree that playing this game on keyboard and mouse would be tragic so PC players would naturally opt for either a controller or if they like the pro/retro feel, go with an arcade stick right?
Console players also would have this choice as well whether or not they would want to use an arcade stick or not.
So in relation to the topic at hand, I merely want to control the actions via the method that the game was originally and intended for. The Keyboard and Mouse.
converting every aspect of this game into using a controller is a great task in its own right, but why not let the gamers (PC/Console) choose how they would like to play?
This day and age, itās not matter if consoles can handle gigs of data to process, itās now just a matter of preference.
AND!!!
If I prefer to be frugal and save some cash somewhere (not buying a $1-$2k PC) but have the capacity to play it in a Next Gen console (which can clearly play the game a high framerates), then Iād like to use the peripheral of choice which in this case for me is mouse and keyboard.
Blizzardā¦ Vicarious Visions. It is pertinent that you include all functionalities of mouse and keyboard in console versions of this game.
Think of it as letting us console gamers use the āArcade Stickā for D2R. It will be the best way to enjoy and continue on the legacy of bringing back a masterpiece. Controller does not bring out the best qualities in this game. Mouse and keyboard does.
