Cheating and skills are not related in the slightest.
Can someone invent a bot for real life? I would like to only do the fun parts of life.
It seems very strange to me that many here claim that cheaters are very good players. That looks a lot like defending the cheaters to me.
A botter is a bad player. There is no rationalizing that.
It has nothing to do with defending cheaters.
We donât like cheaters any more than you do.
Itâs just wrong to assume that someone that cheats automatically is bad at the game.
If someone cheats to get an competitive advantage he already cares more than the average joe.
They are just good computer nerds who dare to use such software.
No, theyâre bad. If they were good, they wouldnât need to cheat. Thatâs a pretty hefty rationalization.
If you classify everyone who is not rank 1 as bad, then your Statement is true
Did all of them cheat?
No but all of them have room for improvement and therefore a potential reason to cheat.
Thatâs not the same thing at all.
I wasnât rank 1, Iâve never cheat. I guarantee others are in the same boat. Just because someone had a reason to cheat doesnât mean they did.
Poor people have a reason to steal, doesnât mean they did or will.
I also never claimed that.
I only said that itâs not rational to assume that all cheaters are bad.
Sure it is. Actual good players have no reason to cheat. People cheat because theyâre not good but want to project the illusion that they are.
Even rank 2 has a potential reason to cheat⌠thatâs the point.
So only if you say everyone except rank 1 is bad, your Statement is true
Yeah, weâre going to have to strongly agree to disagree on that one.
Youâre not making any sense, being a cheater does not exclude you from being mechanically great or knowledgable about a game. Last I checked those were the criteria for being âgoodâ at this game.
You donât have to agree. Iâve dealt with plenty of cheaters in my years. They all come up with all kinds of rationalizations on how theyâre good, etc. Theyâre just trying to find a silver lining in what they do.
Itâs not an opinion, youâre just wrong. There are Chess Grandmasters, i.e. players that are far better than 99.99% of the entire Chess Community, that cheat. Theyâre not bad at the game, theyâre just cheaters. Itâs not about making excuses, itâs about being able to seperate two completely different matters. One can be good at D3 and cheat, one can also be bad at D3 and cheat. Is it more likely that youâre bad if you cheat? Maybe, but correlation is not causation.
Improvement is not a reason to cheat. You are not improving when cheating, you are just losing,
Youâre welcome to think that. Agree to disagree.
