Please let respec be 3 times only

Yeah, they brought in respecs sometime after 1.10. I just don’t know how much of a time sink the essences are in order to do additional respecs after the original 3. To me the base 3 respecs feels fine for newer players who won’t have established builds and don’t just look up d2fans for instance. Please give us Infinate respec in D2 (like in D3)

I know a lot of older players enjoyed the patched in system for respeccing in the current version of D2, but I also know a whole LOT of us who equally hated it. Limiting the players ability to respec is not a core game mechanic, and does not need to be preserved. I recently started playing D2 again with the plugy mod, which allows respeccing on the fly - and it has only made the game better and more enjoyable for me. Now I’m free to play around with my spec until I find a spec that I’m comfort…

Unlimited Respec?

You get one respec per difficulty through Akara after completing the den of evil quest. Beyond the three respecs from Akara you’re required to farm essences from Andariel, Diablo and Baal in hell difficulty. One of each of these essences in the horadric cube will grant a token of absolution. Upon using the token you can respec, so yes, infinite respecs.

Do you think skill and attribute respec should be easier in the remaster?

I personally think its a great QoL change, I know you get 1 respec per per difficulty cycle, but I think there should a be a more reliable way to respec if you messed up a build without having to make a new character. Also new players can change builds to adapt and learn. I know some die hard fans will not like this, but just dont use it if you dont want, you know your exact build the moment you start the game, many people won’t.

Talent/Stat Respec unlimited? QOL Improvement

Can we please get a very important quality of life improvement. Could we finally have the option to respec our talents/stats as much as we want over the 1 quest that gives us 1 respec per toon from act 5? Make us pay insane amount of gold or give a currency to allow for it, but please let us respec our toons so we don’t need to have like 5 paladins for different roles. Thank you
