i’ve literally ruined the game for more pvpers playing solo than i have multiboxing and i have the logs to prove it. I’ve never seen a single good pvper ever complain about a multiboxer in pvp.

It’s hard to multibox a HC team of 4, but SC doesn’t have the same issues.
When the grouping falls apart, which happens quite often, one has to run the group of 4 into a corner to ‘force group’, and then take off again.
People that are against multiboxing are just jealous seeing others working much harder, but getting great results.
I only play HC so I stopped multiboxing years ago, but fully support those that want it.
Diversity is what makes the world a wonderful place.
Lumping multiboxing into “diversity” is reaching.

It is known from big streamers, that multiboxers ruined pvp and their servers.
That should be perfectly legal. As long as he is not playing both sides in PvP, as that would essentially be attempted matchfixing.
Automation of multiboxing on the other hand should just result in a permaban if caught.

in fact, they’d have to ban pretty much every single D3 player as well.
I mean, you’re not wrong. Blizzard makes toxic sets, particularly for monks and wizards. Don. Vu.
And multiboxing can only be used for cheating.
Whether Blizzard allow it because it’s impossible to stop and need a way to stop people making tickets about it because they can’t do anything about it, doesn’t change that 99.9% of gamers don’t do it and would rather it wasn’t allowed.
It’s exploiting which is just another word for cheating.
Multiboxing and pretending you’re not going to use automation software is like making illegal mods to your car and pretending you’re not going to use them.
Blizzard should ban this for D4 and perhaps these conversations will actually make them take note of how important D4 is to people and to get it right. Upsetting multiboxers will be overwhelming positive for the overwhelming majority of Diablo players and multiboxers don’t want to play the game properly anyway so who really cares if they are upset. It’s for the greater good to finally put the resources in to stop activity like this.
