Multiboxing SHOULD be allowed with Diablo IV

This is “your” idea and concept, not Blizzards.

Just admit you are a very jealous boy that loves taking fun away from harder working people!

Lol do live on the forums bro?

Every post I write you reply in 2 seconds wow man maybe like do something else as well rofl.

A multiboxer saying they work hard xD

It takes alot of work to multibox four accounts.

You play one client which is about the most you attempt.

Lol now Blizzard are VERY aware that many people still hate multiboxing. You only had a negative affect on its public optics dude. If you don’t see this you are really dumb.

Your account was bought after RoS came out.

People that multibox enjoy it.

People that have never multiboxed don’t know what the experience is about.

re: I can’t watch a video and know what that experience is about until I actually try it.

So whats the difference between me loading 4 different accounts on to 4 different computers and loading the 4 accounts on to 1 computer
end result is still me soloing with 3 accounts being carried and running through each account to pick up the drops

whats the exploit?

What’s really funny is a MPV has already been on previously and said as far as Blizzard is concerned multibox is not breaking the 1 press 1 action requirement of the game
Using multibox in WoW is disallowed for different reasons

And doesn’t change the FACT they aren’t breaking any rules
Unlike the botters

If a game can be actively multiboxed without automation it’s so unchallenging as to be a simpleminded snoozefest.

Well, if you want to look at online games in general, they’re all snooze fest’s when you get down to it.

They are all a waste of time and money.

But here we are on a game forum talking about this…

Not if you use them to actually make social connections, which is the whole point of multiplayer gaming (and what multiboxing undermines).

I met my fiancée through an online game. Would hardly call it a waste of time.

Very true. The sad part of the token is the horrible nature that it brings out in some people.

True, but that’s what moderation is for. I think a lot of games could do a better job moderating toxicity, for sure.

Depends on the game, of course. People who use voice chat for random games, calling people derogatory names, etc. Unfortunately, with the automated/lax systems we have in this game now, it’s unlikely anything will be done.

One game I played recently, someone used a very racist remark. I reported it and within 10 minutes, I got an email thanking me for my report and “They found that the item was not a violation” lol. There is no possible way in any world that the comment can be construed as legit.

I get it, moderation is a non-value added role. It’s overhead that places cut back on. For Blizzard, I remember in the OG days when people who “moderated” were at least educated. They were not entry level, minimum wage positions.

huh? multiboxing is simply a method to avoid relying on other people to do group content. nothing more. A method that although is inferior to a skilled group, is a wonderful way to avoid those toxic randoms and to go at your own pace until you’re ready to test your own limits. It’s also very difficult to learn.

i mean, honestly you’re just not educated on how it works. Software only came recently and it actually only reduces the required hardware needed to do the same exact thing.

it’s more like an automatic transmission compared to a manual.

I’d like to see someone try to multibox Sniper Elite 5 in invasion mode. So not every game, and they don’t need to be that way. There are still a few companies who don’t just paste new graphics on old ideas out there. Come to think of it I haven’t heard of Diablo IV having one thing I haven’t already seen in another game.

No I didn’t. How could you know anyway you have no proof and I clearly own a copy of D3 I’m on the forums. D3 was a terrible game btw I hope they never repeat it.

And it’s clear you lost the argument which is why you’re now resulting to troll posts.

No it’s not. The eula is different for these games it would be illegal to apply the same eula without clearly stating it using the name Diablo which they have not done when talking about multiboxing. They ONLY refer to wow.

If you have nothing useful to add and this is your one comment it is you that is clearly trolling.

Diablo doesn’t have any group content. It’s always been completely soloable and should always be. Why would you need to do group content in Diablo? Multiboxing would ONLY be used for cheating by this logic.

Read my post…

You were provided links to direct quotes to Blizzard posts from both grimiku and Vaneras that multiboxing is allowed in D3.

In D3, you can play in a party of four. That is a group.

It is neither.

People who bought the game at release or even after the game was out for awhile have four numeric digits in their battletag. It was only later that they went to 5 numeric digits.

This is just wrong. Your battleta has both a name and number. There can be Chris#1-9999. For each “first name”- there are basically 10,000 numbers with 4 numerics. There can be Christopher#1-9,999. I am Deathkiss. There can be 9,998 other unique Deathkiss out there using 4 numbers.

It does state that mirroring software/hardware is banned and automation software.

Where does it say Diablo in this?

This is from YOUR post. YOU linked this quote. And no where does it mention Diablo.

Maybe go back and read your own post.
