Cool. I can see what you’re saying, and while I largely agree, I can still see “boss only” pLoot as a decent compromise to get past the interminable, repetitive discussions.

With all the backwind and all the “we are the majority” comments i have read over the past months, i dont think we have to settle for a compromise anymore.
In 3 days the gates will open and a horde of ploot-advocates will come to d2.
And the even funnier part is that all these old d2 players will finally see what it feels like to play with actually young people for the first time in 20 years again.
They will be destroyed because they cannot in their wildest dreams compete with the reflexes and accuracy of a teenager anymore.
Give it 1 week and half of these so called purists will either be dug into solo MF games or begging for ploot themselves.

Sometimes I think there is a direct correlation with the downfall in blizzards gameplay within all there games and you forum warriors thinking you are fighting the good fight with 1000s of posts, needing to push your personal wants towards the rest of the community. Quoting every single little word we write and making a paragraph about one word I say thinking you are smart.
In the end I gave you a compromise and you said NO. Who is the unreasonable one here.
people advocating for personal loot have been willing to compromise on things and have even changed what they are asking for, for months for you to come in and say compromise more or you aren’t even compromising at all is ridiculous.

But you should also be aware that i do not need to budge or compromise, because despite of the common notion that i am the grandmaster of ploot, i am actually not. I am a forum visitor with an opinion like you. If you think your suggestion/compromise is good, then that is awesome. Post it! Others will agree or disagree with it.

The game is not launching with P loot. That means we have what we want already. That being said, when we are talking about ways P loot would be ok to us, that is a compromising behavior.
Everyone that wants P loot may as well just be a little kid begging their parents to have candy for dinner instead of a healthy meal…a good parent would say no. We are saying no to you P looters. When we say hey…if you eat your dinner you can have a piece of cake for desert, you STILL aren’t happy with it. Sounds like a spoiled kid IMO…all you p looters just wanting things you don’t NEED. Since all the kids are now keyboard warriors…we can’t spank you when you start crying…so the crying persists…it persists so long that everyone that is on the parents side of this debate leaves because they are tired of listening to the whaling. That just leaves the people crying for blizzard to hear and they just want the crying to stop, so they just do what the baby wants so they don’t have to listen to it anymore…but that isn’t enough for the baby they just keep crying and crying because nothing makes them happy. Until we are left with such a terrible outcome no one is happy…sometimes the baby needs to be told no for it to be healthy.
this is incorrect a more proper analogy would be blizzard being the parent and would go a little something like this.
Everyone who doesn’t want ploot is like a kid who has been eating candy for dinner every night and behaving horribly because of it while the parents enable it.
their sibling asks for a more rounded meal because they are sick of eating the same candy every night and it makes the first sibling intolerable.
the first sibling than throws a fit to the parents saying this is unreasonable.
the second sibling concedes that they would be okay with the first sibling ate candy but they got a well rounded meal.
the first sibling then says that’s only possible if your well rounded meal is still 99% candy.
the 2nd siblings are just going to wait for the parents to make a final choice knowing it’s too late for tonight’s dinner but are willing to wait another day.
