Okay. I forgot that the IPs in the text are links.
Do this:
- Copy Text to clipboard your WinMTR results.
- Paste it into your post.
- Select the WinMTR text you just pasted. (Highlight it).
- Click the </> button on the Reply Editor toolbar.
- Click Reply.

I’ve been getting this error since yesterday, and I am in California. Like others have said, I can play public bounties on NS and all games on Seasons, but get this error when trying to join NS public GRifts.

while the alternative server solution does work It is taking forever to join a server and there dont seem nearly as many games on here. The fact that so many players are having this problem and that it only seems to affect NON season characters on “GR” I think its safe to say this is absolutely a server related issue.

Used a VPN, same issue. Can’t join GR 16s with my witch doctor.

I get error 24004 only when joining T16 Greater Rifts. T16 Rifts and T12 / T15 Greater Rifts still work.

I also am getting error 24004 in Diablo 3.
It happens specifically during attempts to join Public Games > Adventure > Greater Rift type games at Torment XVI difficulty. I tried all other game types (Bounty, Rift, etc.) and could play at any difficulty including XVI. I can join Greater Rift games at lower difficulties just fine, it seems.
I’m Canadian playing patch 2.6.8.66666.
- Region: North America
- Characters: Happens on all characters.
- Alternate Connections:
Tried switching from 2.4GHz and 5.0 GHz router signals. No difference.
Tried using iPhone hotspot (Canada, Telus as mobile carrier). When using a hotspot everything works fine.

— at least every character on NS… (I don’t play seasonal so I don’t know if that would happen on a Seasonal Char) - Does this happen on [an alternative connection ] or VPN?
