Last hero...who is he?

well, there are halberds and two-handed swords in the monastery shop

Yea i do prefer to find stuff though. I only check shops out when i actually go to townā€¦ which will probably be more often these days in D4.

how many spear skills have you seen with this canned food?

A spear! Destroyer of cans

In one word, I pray the sanctuary that the knight also had four weapon slots! And besides a long and two-handed something, there was a flail and a war hammer, and dear shield

That would be silly carrying all that though in one go ofcourse.

probably, but the barbarian is hung with weapons like a Christmas tree

Theres only 4 weapons and thats the Barbarians special ability. It wouldnā€™t make sense to copy it. Besides the shield looks HEAVY!
My guess is the ā€˜knightā€™ is a follower or ally

I find it difficult to talk about this class, armor, weapons and the image of a necromancer for me is like a dark forest, a strange class for the lazy with a cup of coffee, in d2 I remember it this way from the words of the players

Im hoping for Dark Knight.

Maybe for Diablo 5, they could do Geisha and Viking. Why not Mayan too.

Iā€™m not saying the 5th class isnā€™t going to be a heavy tank, but the pale knigt is more likely to be a hireling. But it also dosenā€™t mean it canā€™t be a hint, that we are geting our knight in shining armour.

The problem with the Diablo Necromancer is that heā€™s always saddled with summons.

The Necromancers in the Skulduggery books are purely individual and are skilled in shadow magic, turning shadows into weapons & armor. They also have a short-range teleportation skill called ā€œshadow-walkingā€, and they can also use shadows as a platform to levitate.

It sounds frikkin awesome to play, honestly.

Since mounts are a thing in D4, the we obviously need a Knight!!

Honestly, the books can better describe the necromancer than what Iā€™ve seen in the Diablo series. Probably the most difficult class in terms of physics and graphics engine, more horses were added

Well, Iā€™m looking at the armor and weapons of the heroes already presented, there is clearly a gap with a shield and heavy armor, the army of fans of strong armor will not survive dlc a second time

Non magical physical melee is already in the game. Plus with mounts leaving during combat, not going to happen.

I hope they bring up something new honestlyā€¦ also sets up better ā€œgroundā€ for expansion class/es I think

Iā€™m willing to put money on a sword and board class, in one shape or form - so many people have been asking for a Paladin, so I think itā€™s not too far fetched.

If it IS Paladin, Blizzard will need to bring something exciting and new into the class - what do you guys think it will be?

For example the Rogue has the specialisation system, Sorceress has the enchantment system, and the Barb has the arsenal systemā€¦ What would the Paladinā€™s be?

the rogue turned out to be very interesting, thanks to the skill tree, you can create an archer or a dagger, or take the skills of both classes. But now I envy the players of the barb and witches, their heroes wander from series to series, the rest of the blizzard is a nightmare - what will the paladin be like? And will he be? Life is hard on the bright side.

I was strongly leaning on necromancer a while back but a paladin or heavy armor/shield class does fill in the role/gap the best given the current 4 heroes. Iā€™d like to see auraā€™s come back in a big way to combine with other skill treeā€™s for builds in the paladin/knight class.

Necromancer is an Ace card that will always be enticing to sell as DLC content in the future lol. Regardless Iā€™m hoping they donā€™t only use expansions to include new heroā€™s/classes.

A shielded Warrior is likely the final class. If so, then Iā€™m hoping for a darker variant, rather than a holy type; so something like a Dark/Grim Knight or so. With that said, itā€™ll probably be a while before we learn the final classā€™s identity (probably the final quarterly update of this year at the earliest).
