If you guys can clear up some misinformation, then good, maybe you can change some people’s minds, I have no issue with that - more power to you. Again, I got sucked into this when I never intended to. I never wanted to “explain why” personal-loot doesn’t belong. And this all goes back to the fact that people can indulge in these debates if they want, but if just “no” is their answer, then that’s their right, and why I came here in the first place, I see people like RocknRolla and yourself saying you want a logical reason, as if we owe it to you. People can “cast their vote” however they see fit.
At this point it seems like Blizz/VV may add something in the future, which I’m mostly fine with, I suppose.

You sucked yourself into this by replying to me that I was wrong about my optional system and then were adamant against posting any arguments against it when I then replied to you after you tried to call me out and you even stated you had arguments that could prove me wrong in other threads but refused to even copy and paste even one.
Where did I say you were wrong?

Well I was against ploot until I was convinced otherwise and changed my position. It can happen. Fruitful, rational dialogue is always very important.

And this person couldn’t even do you the solid to answer your own question either by posting “one” sound argument from the many “counterarguments” they stated there were. They probably think you now need anger management too for asking a single question.

You know what’s not rational nor civil, to not give someone the courtesy of answering the question that they have been asking for several hours now when you were the one who first called them out and stated they were wrong about personal loot. I have already answered multiple questions from others and they can’t give the same courtesy to answer one of mine. Just deflection and replies based off of stating things like I have anger management issues (to gaslight) for asking a question in a thread with the topic that is the basis of personal loot. Instead of answering one simple question, they run away.

As you can see, there is a bunch of people who are against it because of the nostalgia factor. Some players in this thread have hijacked the purpose of it, so it would be best to lock this thread and avoid unnecessary confrontation. We have way too many Wikipedia kids out in the world just to keep fostering such nonsensical behavior. I hope you enjoy the game and everything it has to offer!
Well you kinda answered your own question, and there’s tons of bots and people selling items on websites. I’d reckon some people may make a living off of it. So picking up all the loot and preventing others from progressing is a double win: it creates a market and it creates the supply they need to sell.

People can also point out the fact he said they weren’t doing it as well. A lot of people need to take a deep breathe about it, and discuss it after the games launch and how it will affect the game.

You do recall them saying the other week that there was lots of things open for discussion, doesn’t mean they will make it in game. Oh, but they did state that they were not interested in changing the core game awhile ago? But now they might? Hmm, there’s always going to be possibilities for the future, some will make it, some won’t. Looking forward to some new items, maybe sets and such
