And I said there’s no reason for modern features in a game that thrives in nostalgia. If you want that kind of thing, there are other games that offer what you are looking for. 
Ok, so you have been gone for a while then since Micro has been one of the most active players on these forums for the last few months advocating for a personal loot option. So why did you get offended when I asked you the question if you are new here? You just made it clear that you are new to these ploot discussions for the last couple months. Such gaslighting.
And if none of those reasons affect them or the game, they should be discarded in making the decision to implement it or not.
Blizz didn’t make D2R based on nostalgia. They did it so they can make money. This means luring D2 AND D3 players back to the fold, but it also means luring players/payers who’ve never played either. They want us all.
Otherwise, D2R would never have been made. TBH, it’s a modern miracle we’re seeing this game at all. There’s definitely not a business case for it.
So, let’s rejoice it’s here and is so beautiful. But, let’s also recognize, nostalgia, or saying “thanks” for a 20 year old purchase is NOT the reason we’re all here today. It’s all about money.
I did not get offended? I was just stating my opinion. Having my opinion does not mean attacking yours. I told you there are other games with such mechanics. This game does not really need that kind of stuff. Let us move on and continue with our forum experiences before it gets out of control.

Stating I have anger problems for asking you a simple question that you just reaffirmed that it was valid to ask since you just stated you have been gone for awhile.
The answer is simple:
D2 didn’t have personal loot then, won’t have it now, before anyone goes “but changes have happened in the remaster.” Those changes are QoL, those don’t change the core mechanics of the game.

D2 didn’t have the assassin or druid either. Additions are great. And continued development of D2 has nothing to do with there being a remaster or not.
Sure, but unfortunately it doesn’t work this way, especially when many people are involved in a decision, and that’s why when you vote on something it’s generally binary, black and white, yes/no, etc.

Dr2R is a remaster of the D2 LoD expansion. So yes, both of those characters are present.
Well, they can decide however they want as developers. But if someone puts forth a claim, like “ploot will ruin the game”, they should be able to support it. If they can’t then it should be illustrated the claim is invalid.
No I’m saying original D2 didn’t have assassin or druid. They were added in an expansion. It didn’t destroy D2. Nor would ploot. You have to explain why ploot, specifically, would hurt the game. Just saying “D2 doesn’t have it” is not an argument. Because D2 didn’t have druids either – so what…

Even so, I hope the game does well. I would like to play it and have a good time.
They can’t, instead they deflect by asking you a question or state that you have anger problems for asking. 
I wouldn’t mind if there were servers for both options. But as it stands, the remaster is of the D2 LoD expansion, those characters exist.
I’d honestly like to see real world stats for both options, kinda like what Jagex did with RS.

So it looks like we won’t be getting one sound argument against the personal loot option tonight because it seems like there isn’t one. I have been waiting in this thread 4 hours for one and all there has been is deflection.
People have given you many counterarguments—you are just in denial and won’t face the facts. All you are doing right now is baiting people into heated arguments so you can look good, but it just makes you look bad each time you try to throw some shade or attack specific forum members.
