The only change that makes sense from those photos Bluddshed posted is the Monk set.
Aegis of Valor will become an OP Heaven’s Fury set.
WhirlRend dead on arrival. A 7 GR nerf from 140 is 133. That’s if you have 10,000 Paragon.

Okay. I’m dumb. Apparently FotF already had the 6x damage increase for Heaven’s Fury. Ignore my OP comments in regards to that. Goes to show the last time I played HF.
Losing 3x damage is still a good 7 GRs of lost damage for WhirlRend though.

So basically they did not really buff much. Maybe 3-5 GR equivalent.
I would say HF is potentially 8x stronger actually.
The most optimal build I remember seeing used LoN/LoD.
AoV6 is 2x stronger than LoN/LoD
AoV2 is adding 4x @ 100% 3 times
So I’d put it closer to 12-13 GRs higher damage wise for Heaven’s Fury. It’s going to be very squishy though. And HF was never particularly strong for solo to start with. Depending on the Shield of Fury remaining the same or not, HF definitely a potential #1 RGK now though.
It’s still 10k. I am personally crushed with this news. Was really excited WW barb was back and super viable and now we are right back to where we started. Hoping this isn’t set in stone and they bring it back.

I was looking forward to playing D3 this coming season, even with how unimpressive the season theme is to me, because Barb would actually be my main class and that would be using a build I really like.
Now, meh. The same old feeling.
If they had made WW6 15000%, it would have been better than it looks at first since it would have buffed both WW and Rend. However, with no compensating change, meh.
I am getting more annoyed over the lack of balance between classes. Seriously, a 10k barb run matches a 5K wiz run and hence Barb must be nerfed.

MicroRNA probably has a graph or one of his tables will show you the reason for that. He knows all about balance in D3.

Nope he won’t show up until next time barbs or any other class that’s on the bottom of DPS food chain gets some serious buffs in future PTRs.

I think the belt will still be needed. On the ptr, I put ambo in the cube. And I did a greater 100. It took me the same amount of time to do it live. I cube the belt and I flew the rift and the boss. Even with out the 200% more dmg the fact that it stacks twice is needed.

This is the third time they’ve done this. Barbs were OP at the beginning so they got nerfed so hard WW was useless. Then Morticks needed an adjustment so they pulled it completely and now this. Proportional response? Why would we do that? Lets just nuke it from orbit.

I have already been silenced for 5 days and lost my TL3 status, because I was advocating for buffs and balancing all classes to be in 5 GRs range of each other…
I used some harsh words (for some people apparently at least), never called anyone names though, but I guess being in favour of balancing the game arround 135-140 GR or slightly highier is against CoC 
Let’s not forget that discussing any moderation is too, so you can’t even defend yourself if you were wrongly accused… How convinient

Lol, if I had $1 for every post I have read with people threatening to quit, I could retire for life. Funny thing is, they are all still here.
Since the PTR, all I have read is how OP the Rend build was and how it should be nerfed. What did you expect was going to happen. I was one of few that have posted the build was great and much needed, but the nerf posts by far exceeded the positive posts. I mean positive as in ‘great job, this is a fun build to play. Barb is finally balanced’, NOT commenting on how OP it was, or how it should be nerfed. Blizzard was ONLY doing what was requested by you people, and you all are to blame. Really, what did you all expect?!?!? After reading all those posts, what other option did Blizzard have?
That’s because people like you and the devs didn’t click on the actual thread and see 5 people telling the OP that he’s wrong and giving evidence as to why he was wrong.

That was mainly MicroRNA and his 3 or 4 alt accounts making similar posts.
It’s not a threat. I’ve played other classes waiting for barb. I don’t want to play them again. I want to play barb at a balanced level. If I can’t, then I’ll just go back to Black Desert Online or POE. Wolcen comes out in 2 months as well.

First off, the Rend build was NOT OP and did not deserve a nerf! I played it the entire week on the PTR. It competed with the top builds and was a top build. The reason it got nerfed is because of all the nerf requests. I read them all, and there were MUCH more nerf requests than there were positive logical posts for the build. You people should have jumped ALL OVER THEM, and you did not. I had contradicted this crap in many of these nerf posts, but I was one of the only ones. You guys just did not fight. I have never played Barb before the PTR and was fighting for the build to stay, but for every positive post, there were about 6 nerf posts. What do you think Blizzard is going to do. All the Barb players should have been all over this then, like ‘white on rice’, instead, you dropped the ball. if someone has 3 accounts that makes double posts, then you get FOUR and triple ther posts!
