That’s some real mental gymnastics there to maintain a fiction. Mortick’s DID exist in the PTR AND the patch notes. It was promised then silently not released. That is a nerf no matter how you look at it.
Right now Lamentation is in a similar state of limbo.
And now, there’s an argument about the semantics around the correct use of the word nerf.
Seriously…?
That’s not how it works. If you are interested i can write a post in the wiz subforum on the mechanics and exactly what has been nerfed. Dont want to divert topic away from this post.
Keeping the thread alive Shhhhhh
Oh but we can ! Now I am not limited anymore to 3 posts by thread ! But I’m not going now because I’m going to bed !
But and seriously, arguing about semantics is ridiculous.
Mental gymnastics maybe, fiction, maybe but the soul wasn’t meant to take that much pain.
Just ask Malthael. Also,
Agreed lets just say that the PTR isn’t the live version of the game.
Because they’ve run out of “thoughts and feelings” to use as evidence now
You keep skipping over the release notes, it WAS a part of the game, STATED by Blizzard.
Not evidence, motivation my dood.
I really want you to create a topic about the bazooka nerf, because i have heard a lot of different versions of the nerf, and as i said i’m not a specialist in wizards.
And it made it to the game right? No.
Another sane vote: Repeal the Lami nerf, save the barbarians!
Un-nerf the barb!! We will accept no less than 200% on lamentation!
I would like to clarify what I actually wrote. It seems to be different than what you are “noting again”.
This thread is awesome, about twice the # of replies as the Diablo lV Official Announcement Discussion
Repeal Rend nerf
A distinction without a difference.
A distinction without a difference.
Ironically he is making my point for me
Let’s assume these nerfs take these two classes to 141 (or even a hair lower). You bring up barb and monk to at least 138 but not past 141. All classes are within 3 GR.
Riddle me this Batman—what’s wrong with barb and monk at 144 in your scenario? By my, admittedly hasty, math, that’s still within 3, no?
