Error code 395002

Can’t retrieve hero list on 3 different computers…bought a new account and it works just fine so those so called tech support steps of loading another region or deleting the battle.net folders are out the window…is this due to no regular server reboots and or maintenance anymore? Since activision took over? All I do know is that it’s on YOUR END not mine

Ya know, 7 years ago, they had TOP MEN on it.

I’m sure they care just as much now.

I also want to add that I have submitted 2 tickets and still no fix

I had that happen to me a couple years ago. It makes no sense that you can log into another region or on a new account. Seems pretty obvious that it’s on their side. I know that this is an issue that had affected others so I don’t know why they can’t fix your issue. Seems like weak sauce to me. I’d rather they charge $5/month and get better servers that don’t lag, new content and support that handles issues when they came up. That would be 5 bucks well spent.

Who is in charge here? Are we just sitting on our hands?

Howdy,

Our developers are currently investigating the source of this issue. We do have workarounds which we posted on our support site Here. On top of this if the issue continues, make sure to reach out to our Customer Service team Here who can provide more detailed troubleshooting at the account level.

Thank you.

If you would read what I posted then you could see that I already did all of those steps and still no go…and 2 support tickets were forced closed and the last msg directed me here…And I was in town and closed the game the last time it worked…3 different computers still can’t retrieve hero list…bought a NEW account and it works so it’s NOT my computer

I just read through Ruckus’s ticket logs with several tech specialists. I’m not sure if the specialists understand the issue because he was referred to a forum post about error message 10017. He has tried all the recommended trouble shooting steps. It’s been several weeks since this issue started. He tried rolling back his account. He can log into the servers of Asia and EU. What can be done for him? I looked back through the forum archives of other people who have had this issue and as far as I could see, no one was able to solve their issues on their end. The only times that people reported that the error was fixed was after something was done on server side. Blizzard’s side that is. The remedies I have found online have not worked. Can someone take another look at his account and see if they can help? You can imagine how frustrating it is when you can’t log into your game and it feels like no one is trying to help. What else do you need him to try that he hasn’t already done? His posts have been marked as answered, but the issue is still not solved. Can someone please continue to follow up and take some accountability on behalf of Blizzard? Thanks in advance.

Well well well…at 9am eastern today season’s servers went down giving everyone 395002 error karma is a wonderful thing and now it is YOUR problem and Has to be fixed…hey wait let me guess…clear our cache? Hahahah

Hello Blizzard.

I just encountered Error Code 395002. Tried Scan & Repair (Did not work) / Tried deleting Battle Net Folder (Did not work) / Repeat the steps as per what was recommended and it still did not work.

What is the next steps? Do i need to buy a new game and start over? This doesn’t seem to make any sense.

Please advise

Hello Blizzard… same issue happened to me. I can login to other region except the US. Please Advise

I am getting the same thing also. I just going to sit and wait to see what happens.

Same thing here… Hopefully they can fix this soon.

I also got this error today.
After following the detailed steps outlined, from the Blue Post above, I had 0 positive results.

The link I clicked on from the blue post was this.

Let’s humor Blizzard at this point and go through what steps are outlined and my personal results for them.

  • Log out of the game then log back in. This will refresh your hero screen and allow you to see all available heroes.

This step didn’t work. Keeps giving the error at login screen. No big deal, just a glitch in the system.

  • Run the repair tool to repair any damaged game files.

Okay. Ran the repair tool. Now the game is appearing like it needs an update. It is more broken now than before and won’t let me finish the update. It’s also spitting out the following error: “Whoops! Looks like something broke. Give it another shot.” with an option to hit “Okay” which when hitting okay, forces you to update causing a loop with this error. It’s support redirects to this support article (Edit: Which does not help or yield results either).

  • Switch to another game region and switch back to refresh your game’s cache.

Hate to break it to you, but no. This doesn’t resolve the issue. Just gives another feedback loop to the previous issue.

  • Delete the Battle.net Tools folder to automatically rebuild outdated or corrupt files.

See previous. Update loop. Stuck. Can’t. Progress. Past. Update.

Contacting customer support clearly doesn’t help as listed in the above post. So what can we do? Probably nothing until they decide they want to fix the issue. Almost everyone in the US got yeeted off the servers this morning, so I would have to assume this is a loss prevention issue that is impacting Blizzard right now. While I don’t speak for the company and honestly wouldn’t want to be in a Blue Poster’s shoes right now, I feel this is unacceptable. Customer Service is severely lacking. No phone lines to connect with an actual person at the other end. Slow information reporting when issues happen (I can promise nothing will come out by the time I respond since it hasn’t for the past 6 days for the OP).

Nothing you can do but wait, hope, and pray that Blizzard sorts it out.
I know it’s frustrating. I’m with you on this one.

This is a server issue with Blizz. I am sure that they are looking into it.

Died in A4 on my alt, upon reviving I got booted out with Error 395002. I’ve tried every step suggested from Blizzard, and still can’t login to the game at all.

Looks like everyone is taking a break from Diablo 3 while they debug a 7 year old bug.
