D2R is just fine with the implementations that already exist in the game. While I am annoyed with some of the more recent changes, I am willing to look past them and repurchase the game if this as the extent of the changes.
This is a 20 year classic because of the features that currently exist. Let’s keep it that way and preserve D2 with all the gameplay mechanics we know and love for D2R.
+No Ploot (Thank you for shutting this down!), need/greed loot or instanced loot
+No stacking of socketable items
+No handshakes for PvP
+No kicking functions
+No new powercreeping content
+No /players x on multiplayer
+No balance changes or melee splash or any of that ridiculous rabble
+Preservation of “bugs,” or features, that the D2 LoD community has come to cherish over the years, and fixing of bugs that the community has come to admonish
Let 1.15 be 1.14d with the remastered additions that were showcased at the game’s announcement. Keep the internal conversation about any future changes for much later down the road, after the hype-train has left and the tourist gamers move on to their next game.
We’re on the road to release. Let’s keep it to polishes and critical bug and performance fixing ONLY and not listen to the entitlement generation on these forums, on Reddit and on Twitter!

If Vicarious decides to do something, they will. They are basing it off of CONSTRUCTIVE feedback, not “changist this, purist that, NOOBZ AND VETERANZ DIS AND DAT”
