DI has become a ghost town

My interest in the DI campaign died off and I’m only lvl44 in the desert level.

Usually when I play an ARPG for the first time, I want to play it solo so I can enjoy the story. All these side multiplayer/end game events that I need to do… it’s ruining the campaign experience. That bit after the tutorial mission when you come out of the church and other players are running around… that was such a shock to the system.

We need to be able to finish a campaign solo… then introduce all the MMO/end game aspects.

This is a real problem.

If there was a way to make groups easily based on similar CR and Para to man the Raids and work the dungeons for a few hours would be awesome.

It just isn’t happening right now.

Multiplayer interest tends to decay the longer things are released without new content or modifications/incentives to keep doing the same old things. This is pretty much true for every MP game regardless of it being PC, mobile, or console.

Anyone who’s actually played a mobile game with mandatory MP elements prior will know that matchmaking is atrocious, party member quality is going to be all over the place, and that getting things done when you want to can easily NOT happen. Breaking your game down into sub-servers beyond basic regional grouping is further asking for trouble.

Even before the predatory aspects of the game were finalized and what that would do to player interest, Blizzard should’ve known that blocking solo play would have consequences. Seriously, there’s no shortage of (failed) mobile games that tried to be MP heavy, only for people to hate it.

But you can clear the campaign solo on DI.

Sorry, should have been clearer… I meant without seeing anyone else running around. I find it very jaunting trying to experience a solo campaign and then seeing another player run paste.

Don’t you usually see others in an MMOARPG?

You do… it ruins the story campaign portion of the ARPG experience.

Not for me. If anything, I love it more. It feels more lively especially if the game has a hub.

I finally got to take the survey they have been spamming me with for the last week, while I cant say what the questions were or my answers were… i did let them have it, i probably wont be asked to take a survey again.

=========== not related to the survey =========
but i still like playing, its still fun for me as a battle pass player. However I wish they wouldnt cap you on your play time. I can now finish the full week battle pass allowed points by Wednesday, sometimes if I slack Friday so I have at least 2 or 4 days a week were playing actually doesnt reward anything since I’m max capped on all. They need to allow people the ability to do 10,000 bounties a day if they want, since we get a 10% max xps when you are WAY over the paragon level of the server. 10% is still better than 0 progress gain

*side note, i made a mage/wizard on the same account so i can see progress and in only 3 days of play im already at paragon 60 on the new character and wizards kinda are fun and you get to double dip your battle pass! so most items from the bottom of the battle pass are claimable from the same battle pass (cosmetics and emotes are not) but everything else appears to be mutli claimable

i just logged in and was literally the only player in town. chat was dead. went to farm a bit and noticed it was just 10 botters. there’s no reason to even play this game anymore unless you dropped like 20k.

And then they throw in 5 humans or what?

Truth is in the eye of the beholder.

If it’s a ghost town, then how is it 30 million copies of D:I have reportedly been downloaded?

The thing they don’t say is how many of those 30 million were already uninstalled. I am guessing the amount is comparably high as well.

reminds me of a time i was working in China before i knew Cantonese, i stayed in a secluded little cottage next to some weird monk always wore white not sure how he kept it clean all the time, but anyway back on point, he ran some kind of tourist karate school and there were american girls always going there to train, looked silly to me but whatever. Anyways one day i was just getting off a long nights work and i was walking up the stairs to my cottage and the monk guy just happened to be walking down at the same time. He gave me a nod and said something but like i said i didnt speak Cantonese at the time so i just said “monday’s, right?” and kept going up. When i reached the top i looked back and he was still there just glaring right at me like he wanted to kill me. I didnt know if it was a communication barrier or what, so i just bowed and said sayonara and he huffed a little and proceeded about his day.

but back to the point, i think the truth is that Jesseth’s is the only option for Necro’s this season. Army of the Dead is op and siphon life pimple popping isnt fun, it’s as dull and boring as wizard channeling builds.

Sayonara is a Japanese word.

Why would you speak one word of Japanese to a Chinese person?

Your whole story is made up is my guess.

There is no way Blizzard would know if their games are uninstalled.
