Perhaps this varies by server.
The one I’m on, I see LFM for all sorts of stuff in World Chat at Hell 1, 2 and 3. There’s plenty of Party Finder adverts happening for Hell 2 and 3 dungeons, and if you take more than 2-3 seconds to click on a “Hidden Lair (Hell III)” advert, you missed it, because the group’s already full. This morning, being reset day for Lassal and Vitaath, saw multiple adverts for those. I did my Lassal 3 and Vitaath 2, then helped people out with lower versions for a bit.

I see. It has been increasingly hard the last week and a half, I do find some games in the party finder or if I go to the gate of the dungeons, but few. Lassal and Vitaath runs are easier to find, even hidden lairs.
I hope it will be possible to migrate your character or merge servers or something. I have payed more than 90 dollars for this game now, and want to progress my character as much as I can.

That makes the most sense, but that is an admission of failure, which I seriously doubt they are ready to concede. Maybe allow free server transfers though, that would be one way around it.
Wyatt Cheng already stated in an interview with one of the streamers that once the numbers started to level off that they might merge some of the servers. It may have been with Lord Fluffy, on the New Meta podcast.

That is good to hear, they don’t have anything to lose on making the game more functional for those who enjoy it. They will stay longer and more people will come. I’m having a blast now with my knife trap build which wouldn’t be possible in D3, I just hope I will manage to stay around with all the things that feels broken.
What made me expand my D3 playtime from 200 hours to 10.000 hours was the Demon Hunter class, so for me that is an advantage that DI has over D4 and D2R.
My suspucion is that Blizzard will not do anything dramatic until D:I is 3 months old. The first month was missing multiple countries in SEA. Blizzard probably wants to see how those 1 month offset SEA countries due in their second month before making changes.

on prime evils server (the one I’m on) people are farming hell 4 already.
I wish they would remove the silly must group to enter requirements. My sader was able to solo Lord M at hell 3, took me awhile but I didnt even come close to death not even once and I’m a “free 2 play” player (well battle pass player).

The server you’re on maybe has people that left the game.
Blizzard should put us all on one of three servers, NA, Euro or Asia.

Do what they did with D2R, which is everyone is on the same server or able to join other servers easily.
The one issue I feel people are quitting D:I is their concept of Season which is ludicrous.
Instead of starting over with a new character/hero they only want you to spend more money on a renewed Battlepass

I’m curious about this, I’m know and appreciate the season concepts in D2 and D3, but I haven’t yet understood the season in DI, is this how MMO’s normally are? It feels more like just a patch.
Being F2P ($0.00) I too am having a hard time finding groups. I decided to just force myself into H2 and I can kill things but I get the “High Monster Level” message and sometimes get insta killed. But I have no choice, there isn’t anyone in H1 to group with for dungeons and finding dungeons in H2 has slowed down because most of those players are on H3.
Helliqueury I basically had to wright off since I am not 1250 CR and cant do anything but Difficulty 1.
There really needs to be another way to get more CR. Paragon and Sanctum buff you character but provides ZERO CR.

imagine playing the game that is so good that month into the game’s lifecycle you have to consider merging servers because its so dead 
not even HOTS sunk that low.

I like to farm for gear in the plains of torment (or your favourite zone) to raise CR, then when about 3-500 CR under the next level, I use as much defence as I can, and play support in the same area where I know the mobs and layout. That way you get invited to parties and can help, pull large packs and do crowd controll, the team will forgive you for dying more often than them.
Before you do that, just make sure you have done the corresponding challenge rift that opens up the loot table for higher level drops. I think for Hell 3 it was rift 60 (or even lower).
I spent money, but I didn’t get much CR out of it because it went into levelling one high gem to level 3, it took a many gems to do it. One good piece of equipment with 3 main stats would outdo it.
