You cannot unfortunately unless if you manually copy them over with Hero Editor.
People say they want changes like p8. Then they say it wont change anything. So its not a change.
Change=-change its not=No change
If it doesnt change anything why keep yepping about change?
Then I’d say that would be a great feature for people that want to test their characters out with friends on p8.
The thing is, most of these people aren’t being honest with their reasons. There are no friends they want to play p8 with lul.
For real tho, if I swap my spirit for gerkes and put on some dr/mdr items I can legit stand anywhere in the game, and face tank with 4.8k mana, max block, max dr, and nothing can kill me, specially if I swap infinity for insight, even manaburn doesn’t do a thing anymore. imagine giving a char like mine access to p8 online, and “unkillable sorc” with 500mf doing 40k damage (gear swapped) and tell me others wouldn’t do the same.
I run around in Halls on a 650 life bowazon and just ignore the vipers (traditionally one fo the most lethal mobs in the game) and just offscreen kill Nil with multishot. The vipers don’t even budge my health lol.
Except you fail to realize that the progression through the economy will go even faster. Thats something people do not want. It’s fun needing the crappier items, its part of the journey. Making early and mid builds work. Its part of the game. Increasing the Drop rate just gets people to equipping an enigma faster… It would be bad for the experience.

Actually: it means the item’s value for RMT sellers is reduced when trying to convert to real life $$$. Apparently this is the crowd for which the game is being balanced… 
Real D2 players don’t use RMT to gear their chars, they farm specific locations, I’m all for those bots getting shutdown, but p8 isn’t the thing to do it.

Man I play the game because I like the time it takes to farm stuff. Reducing that just gives me less reason to play. I see no advantage in that. I also like to farm different zones, with different classes. Reducing the game to p8 pits spam, then reducing the time to gear by 60% sounds boring AF.

Just thought of something, the only people to be greatly benefitted by adding p8 are pvp players, gearing fast has always been important to them (I could get behind it for this alone), but I still don’t believe it’s needed online, as the game is meant to be a grind, like EVERY OTHER BLIZZARD GAME EVER MADE.
You could also argue that PvP players would want players 8 because RMT items would be cheaper hehe.
Very valid point, but RMT people aren’t true D2 players in my eyes.

True enough. Honestly… I just want’em to leave the game alone, stop making it easier, fix the lobbies/chat/load times and call it good. The only gameplay change I wouldn’t mind seeing would be adding a new difficulty.
Would be the same as adding /players 8 difficulty wise but wouldn’t be so jank, and would be some new content.

OP who has lots of fg on jsp… he want it to make it easier to make FG/money. Thats the reason for alot of them who want this kind of changes. to make a fast buck

I don’t think you understand how JSP works based on this comment, I don’t personally use it, but I do know if you get caught selling FG for real $ you get banned and so does the person who bought it, bad for both parties.
From what I’ve seen, JSP needs items to be rare to make any type of profit, and keep sale numbers high, people on JSP would be against making it easier to find items/high runes and dropping their profits.

I think you can buy forum gold directly from JSP though. I was considering making a complaint to the FTC since it’s a very fine line on things they have already ruled on as illegal.
You can, but that still isn’t buying items in game, and lets be honest, the more common an item is, the cheaper it is, do you think a trading community (regardless of how you feel about jsp) wants low prices and an abundance of items, or rare items that fetch a high price?

I mean I just want a reset economy with everybody playing on an even playing field. It wouldn’t even bother me so much if people couldn’t use the wealth obtained outside of a ladder, within a new ladder. That destroys the entire point of a fresh economy reset. That’s the worst part of all, in my opinion.
So you start Season 1 with your fully geared light Sorc doing P8 or like the rest of us spend 50% of the season getting that gear playing P1?
Through other forums, and even different games, DR items are traded, I’ve personally sold 08 items back in the day for WoW gold, you can not blame a trading website for destroying the in-game economy, it’s supply and demand, p8 would reduce the demand based on drop rates since items would be much more easily attained solo, thus reducing market value overall.
