CREATE A new CHARACTER! This made my old character come back. Try it.
Last maintenance deleted my character. I decided to carry on remake because I really love the game but my original character never came back. Now, I logged in to check my characters, they are all gone again. If this is the case, I’m going to be absolutely livid. How can you update a game and delete characters. That cannot be a bug for your company.
60 Blizz Sorc on hell mode deleted as of today.
Character is also missing from my account. Same experience as described above. Kicked out of game to Character Select screen. Kept getting “Character not found on server”. Restarted game, and now no characters at all. Same on both XBOX and PC. Hopefully they’re still there after maint update.

Had this issue also they showed back up a few minutes later might me maintenance related.
I tried to create a new character and it gave me an error message and told me to try again. Still didn’t work the second time either and my characters are still gone.

I confirm creating a new character made also my character come back !!

Yup just lost my characters as well I’m hoping its part of the maint bc im gonna be pissed if i have to start it again.
creating new character bring your other character back, but cannot play because it says it is already in a game… Why maintenance on Sunday when everyone want to play…
My “Online” Characters are disappeared today when I logged in to continue progression.
I’ve purchased this game twice: “Switch” and “PC” and am using that Online character functionality to do cross-progression.
This is extremely annoying, especially since I dropped 80 bucks.
Though I wasn’t super far into the game yet, I hate starting over again. Losing what progress I made feels bad man…

Just logged back in, I lost a level of progress but she’s back! Unfortunately I probably just lost my rhyme I just made, not a big deal but that was the first shael I came across lol. Hope your chars come back! I would be pissed if I didn’t get mine back. I know I only put a slow day or so on my character, but it’s the kind of thing that will make you stop playing.
Yep guys, its all gone, has nothing to do with the maintain and they wont be back later 
I checked my characters again and they are currently back. I would suggest not playing the game though at all (if you could) during the patch time though. Maintenance bugging everything out for sure, hopefully no one’s characters are gone truly.
