I was against /players 8 command and playing a month made me change my mind. I need this command right now. Since the lobby is clunky, it’s extremely hard to find viable diablo run and baal run games.
For those who worry that people will only farm LK super chests,I think the devs can do something with those super chests to reduce the motivation.
Agreed. I can’t be bothered to enter public games anymore; people arguing and fighting over who gets Andy/Meph or whatever is just too toxic and tiring to deal with. At least give us a /players 3 or 4.

So basically you think sorc and hammerdin should just be granted a massive MF boost for free?
Then I demand a massiv nerf for these classes. Minus 50% damage and u can have players 8.
Other MF chars already have issues and cant farm players 8.
When they relax the game creation so I don’t get timed out after doing:
Mausoleum, Pit, Ancient Tunnel, Upper Kurast 87’s, River of Flame -
I will stop hijacking established “ACT 1 Q1-5” games and MFing act 2-5.

All melee players should just use like a little crushing blow, no matter the boss health, you chunk him to 1% hp really really fast.
You can use a Lightsabre instead of Grief for quite a while on paladin, there are a ton of good mid level runeword options for all other classes. Only one I can think of that might struggle without good gear is Bowazon, but that has ALWAYS been the case. She’s like BaBa, needs, gear.
My only request would be let necros get benefit from like half of the crushing blow they have equipped for their melee skeletons, but you can always revive some Maulers for it I guess.
Sorc will always be the most played class because you can put on 1k MF and basically have naked damage and still kill things if you’re careful. Paladin a close 2nd because Hammers.
Blizzard loves paladin. They probably won’t nerf him. He’s iconic.

And you go to any hell baal runs you see the 6-7 sorc sitting in town waiting for a portal up. You go to a hell cow game, you see 5-6 people standing there waiting for things to die and attempt to grab loot. Then gets mad when they got killed by the hoard going all over the place. “you are griefing me because you teleport away from the group and I cant kill anything”, I just laugh in their face.
I have no problem with you attempting to snatching loot if you actually help with the DPS. IF you are just standing around like a bystander and expect me to kill everything for you and you run around grabbing the loot. I am going just to teleport around and lead the monster right into you.

thats how diablo2 has always been, makes the game more exciting imo…i hope they dont change a thing.
Play Hardcore, you won’t have any issues with people joining your public game. Where is the HC community? I can’t even get a cow game going.
D2 has been toxic since the day people first logged into battle.net. It’s a relic of an older time.
The player base is full of scammers lol.

Lower Kurast.
Act 3 zone with 3-6 superchests that have one of the highest probabilities of dropping high runes in high player count games.
(the probability is still super low, it’s just high relative to all the other abysmal probability spots you could farm)

If they added /players 8, it would remove the need for players to play with each other , end game. Would be less public games. So I don’t know.

it’s cute you think 8 players will fix anything you’ve mentioned. it will actually get worse then. plus cross platform needs to happen as well. none of these with stop the lol trolls. just pass code your game and play with your private click or get trolled endlessly that’s the blizzard model after all.

This game is getting really toxic WITH people screeching for QoL or Assistive features. /players belongs offline, THATS IT.
Clamor all you want, its better for you to accept it or move on.

I second that. This game isn’t men’t for new players. if you don’t like the way d2 is you need to go away because it will never change…oh and iv been in player q for 1 1/2 hrs so what is going on there blizzard?
