Teleport kills the game

It was proven that blizzard edited the wrong file for the big bowzon update, and the update only effected the actual character stat screen. The damage shows you doing more, but more damage is not actually being done. It makes me curious how throw barbs might be in the same boat because it’s a missile text file issue.

Teleport is not the reason java hpally or sorc are all individually strong. It just makes getting to the target faster. There is a reason why druids and sins and necros that have enigma aren’t that popular and that is because their abilities in PvM are dogwater.

Your logic is awful, if you wanted to bring everyone inline with those other classes, then you’d find a way to buff PvM versions of those other characters. Meanwhile you neglect barb which is by far the best PvM character which doesn’t need teleport to be great. Your understanding of the game and it’s mechanics is severely lacking.

Don’t use it. Problem solved. If it’s not about loot, then who cares what other people are doing?

Teleport needs to be a scroll that can be purchased from the vendor.

But, no, teleport was a unique feature in all games for sorceress only.

Enigma destroyed all, Great, But cauz of that, the melee characters who will fight against the casters (Hammer din, Sorcer, Bnec etc) are becoming more and more stupid.(nerfed IAS, deleted FHR, broken W-Wind AS)

as a barbarian lover, CTA should be barbarian only. period.

they could just reduce the “no drop” chance on basic enemies. Teleport is to avoid wasting time on trash enemies who wont drop you anything most of the time, and to bypass obstacles like walls.

I hate D3 teleport for 2 reasons: 1- you cant teleport through walls or across corners. 2- you have 2 charges instead of spending mana with no limit to number of teleports.

that’s a hillariously terrible idea. right off the bat, pvp would be totally biased. People with 2 accounts would have a BO barb to beef them up, and CTA would go extinct since bo sticks from mara are waaaaay cheaper and far superior. Hoto would be better for shout barbs, and that’s too expensive.

CTA is trash on a barb, because it’s meant to give non-barbs the shouts(hence the name “call to arms”). anyone who uses cta on a barb needs to get away from the computer before they break something, go back to crayons and coloring books.

your view makes absolutely no sense to me, enigma is a crap item only good for teleport. Hdin is pretty broken, I’ll agree on that. player chars need innate 30% magic res or it should be included in “+all res” especially since an Hdin can hit for 18k and you have ZERO magic res without using some stupid crafted shield. Teleport is fine though, it’s a time saver.

Fine on Sorc? Yes
on an item? No.

Just leave game. Obviously you only play a sorc and are not very good at all. You want to keep teleport all for sorces and that is just never going to happen.
Go play super mario cart or something.

Teleport no longer works through walls.

Teleport has a 12 frame next cast delay.

There. Teleport is now fixed and is no longer mandatory on every class.

The gameplay baseline feeling has been altered

Like somebody quitting drugs, their body still craves the perks provided by teleport

This is why if teleport is rightfully nerfed

That it should be accompanied with a buff to global content

Make areas worth to be walked rather than skipper

FRW is greatly increased on many items.

Stamina reworked; gives extra +30% FRW and no longer needed for running.

Extra FRW base stat added to all boots: norm: +10%, exc: +20%, elite: +30%.

Scroll of FRW (+10%) added to Blood Raven Q drop.

I’m not saying to actually change teleport. I’m just noting that the fix is simple, the skill is OP, and this is the best way to go about it.

The only thing that really bothers me is the cope of people thinking teleport isn’t the giant elephant in the room that removes skill/build diversity for the worse, but are far too used to telestomping in pvp or ignoring the map entirely in pvm.

Was enigma the worst/best thing ever added to the game?

Yes.

Should it be changed?

Nah. As you said. The damage is done and the remaining player base would throw the biggest toddler tantrum you’d ever see if they removed the walk through walls god mode teleport provides.
