Stop whining “changes will ruin the economy!”… no it won’t, economy is adaptive, only your preconceived notion of D2 economy will be ruined

Stop whining “changes will ruin the economy!”… no it won’t, economy is adaptive, only your preconceived notion of D2 economy will be ruined

If uniques are made better which has for effect that runes are worth less… it doesn’t reduce the worth of the game as a whole, it all balances out

As long as drop rates aren’t buffed, the economy is the economy

If you want to play a loot raining style game. Diablo 2 isnt it. Diablo 3 is having a season reset this Friday. Feel free to grind that for like a day and max out your character. Some of us like to take months to complete a build, getting one piece at a time and over time it gets stronger. You know not reach paragon 800 like 2-3 days into a new season for D3.

D3 has no max. Its uncapped for that very reason. D2 is about finding the loot. D3 is about playing with your loot.

That’s why I quit D2, and barely play. I have all the runewords and uniques that I want.

Wtf are you talking about lol

Why do purists always have to bring Diablo 3 as soon as they disagree with somebody

Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 are 2 fundamentally different games, they won’t be the same with changes to minor mechanics, they can only be similar with changes to the core mechanics and this is not what this topic is about

Also doesn’t rain down primals, but somehow farming on D2 is fundamentally different in their arguments.

Then stop playing d2 and go play d3. D2 is also playing with your loot. Its just you have to earn it not it gets rained down from the sky and slap your face with it. Lets be complete honest here, there isnt much to do or build in d3. They just slap you with loot at every turn. Every T16 rift you get what? 10-20 legendary ? It even tells you on the map where the damn thing is if someone kills something and it dropped. If you like d3 go play d3, if you like d2 go play d2. Stop trying to change D2 into D3 just because you cant be bother to grind or trade for things.

They always resort to the D3 line because they don’t have any actual reasoning against the proposed changes.

There’s the issues, liking D3 proves that you have low standards

Therefor you don’t want much

No wonder you quit as soon as you have all you want since you don’t want much

You are telling me that you have fully decked out of all classes

You have stuff like +6fireball/20fcr/2socket sorc orb?

You have 2druid 3nado 3hurri life str fhr pelt ?

The best items are 1:1000000000 to find, doubt you have them already haha

You have completed the holy grail?

Don’t say there’s nothing to do if you just don’t want to do stuff

Especially since I precisely said “with no drop rate buff” haha

Did I say op ask for increase drop rates? Nope

And by what meaning does OP means stop complaining about the economy other than to mess with the drop rates?

/playerX? → mess with the drop rates
increase drops - > mess with the drop rates.

anymore?

Does it not provide you with a guarantee drop once you solo a 70 char? On top of that free set they give you in seasons once you do some simple tasks.

But his post explicitly says he’s not arguing for increased drop rates. Anyways, I’m pro changes. YAY go Blizz.

No it doesn’t

It’s the same logic as shared stash for muling

People already do it, it doesn’t change anything beside removing the annoyance of people highjacking other people’s games

Also changing the balance doesn’t mess with drop rate yet it affects economy

You can already buy everything you want with money , what economy are you even on about at this point .

It does increase the drop rate of items as the difficulity scaled up. Its not like this game is brand new.

go run silospen drop calculator

Change the party size on each player games. The chances goes up. You also get more mobs spawn. So yes it does change the drop rate.

Lol not point trying to explain this to you, you clearly lack the mental capacity to understand that you can already do it, therefor it’s a zero sum change to the economy but a buff to QOl

Actually the economy does change as the floor for items become much higher. ( I highly doubt you would understand what this means). Which would also reduce the time to get geared up. If you want to play a easy game, this game isnt it.

Do you gatekeep at every opportunity? You’re so anti-change it sounds like you should go play D2 on whatever your favourite patch is and let the rest of us enjoy the evolution of D2R.

Sure, you just stop making these post and it won’t be needed.
You keep making the same posts with just I little different colouring, why do you expect different reactions?
